Nice stay surrounded by olive trees. The masseria would need some upgrades: rooms are noisy, a coffee or tea machine, and tidiness average. The pool area is nice and breakfast delicious! Oil tasting available.

We hosted our wedding at Masseria Borgo Santuri in June 2025. The wedding planning was put under new management recently and the service was superb. Claudia took care of our every wish, made us feel taken care of and made it very easy to host our destination wedding at their place. She responded to our message day and night and the day itself was a smooth and pleasant experience. The food was delicious, and every time we wanted to make a change during the day the staff played into our wishes without issue. Would 10/10 recommend for a pleasant and smooth planning experience resulting in a dream wedding.

The facility is beautiful and the staff is friendly. The huge problem is the management. The room has no windows, is extremely humid (you wake up soaking wet in the morning), and has a pervasive smell of mold. When we requested a room change, we were charged €25 for a linen change (which is reasonable) and another €24 for a room change (which, in my opinion, is unacceptable). At breakfast, the manager asked us to pay extra for an extra coffee. Given the request for a room change, and considering we had dined at the facility the night before, an extra 10 cents for a coffee could easily be spent to please a guest. A lack of empathy and an inability to manage guests lead to a failure, not of the masseria, but of its management. We will not return and do not recommend it.

A beautiful natural setting, but the kitchen is unprepared to host events with more than 50 people—a lack of humility in admitting it. Dishes arrived cold and sticky, and the dining room was disorganized, with no maître d', meaning they relied on improvisation. Catering would have been better.

Our travel agent booked the Borge Santuri for us. At first, we were disappointed because it is outside of town and we requested to be in city center hotels on this trip. However, the charming staff, delicious food, beautiful surroundings, relaxing pool, and the comfortable room won us over. We loved everything about Santuri. Highly recommend.

On vacation in Ostuni, we were looking for a traditional Apulian dinner in a typical masseria... we didn't find it here. The food was good, but nothing typical of Apulia to showcase the region... orecchietta, friselle, etc. The food was good, but typical restaurant fare, something we tourists (perhaps mistakenly) expect from a masseria in Puglia. The location, however, is out of this world! Beautiful! Dinner outdoors, quiet and free from the chaos of Ostuni city center. The staff was also friendly, and even gave us some great tips on what to visit during our stay. Recommended, but more for the location than the food ;)

Noisy room - there was a door between our room and the neighbour room which had zero sound isolation - you could hear every tiny movement - did not feel private and thus not relaxing
The food was bland - not very interesting and quite high prices for what you get. And a ridiculous cover charge of 3.5 per person and we didn't even get bread.
Breakfast was the cheapest stuff you can buy in the super market, tasteless bread,cheese, and ham including very overcooked eggs.
Oh and a bunch of not very welcoming fines and rules -see picture. Didn't have them enforced on us but it felt like a patronising cash grab operation.

A bit of a disappointment compared to the lovely late summer dinner... there was only one waiter, so the service was very slow, and the wines didn't match those on the menu. In fact, they served us a sweet Ferrari with our appetizers... ugh!!! Very disappointed, because the place is very beautiful...

Our Italy with Pleasure Culinary tour in Puglia, Ostuni, Italy was beyond anything we could have expected. Masseria Borgo Santuri was the full week accommodation for our family of 10, ages 78-14 yrs.old. It could not have been more perfect. Rooms were beautiful & immaculate. Buildings, grounds, pool, decor were understated elegance in keeping with the ancient building. It utilized the various out buildings as private spaces to enjoy morning coffee or wine at sunset. The staff was wonderful, every request was met. Their English was better than our attempts at Italian.They were setting up the grounds for a wedding on our last day & I encouraged my grandchildren to consider a destination wedding there when the time came.
