Masseria la Tofala Benessere & Spa in Copertino

We recently stayed at Masseria la Tofala with our family, including our two kids, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The Masseria is beautifully decorated, combining authentic charm with tasteful details that make every corner feel special. The atmosphere is extremely peaceful, perfect for truly unwinding and enjoying quality time together.

One of the highlights for us was the stunning pool, which is designed with families in mind — our kids spent hours swimming and playing safely while we relaxed poolside. Each morning, we looked forward to the very complete breakfast with fresh, local options that satisfied everyone’s tastes and gave us the perfect start to our days.

Parking was simple and stress-free, which is always a bonus when traveling with children and all their gear. We were also impressed by how convenient the Masseria’s location is for exploring the area — it’s the perfect base if you’re attending any event nearby or just want to discover the region at your own pace.

Overall, Masseria la Tofala is a hidden gem that we highly recommend for families looking for relaxation, comfort, and an authentic experience. We’re already looking forward to our next stay!

We stayed here after an event in the grounds of the Masseria Tofala. The whole place is beautiful and the grounds are well maintained. The rooms are all different, all charming and well appointed. The hosts were welcoming despite our late arrival. The breakfast was amazing - lovely pastries, wonderful jam and fresh fruit. The event space was also excellent - a good sized indoor space with lovely outdoor area as well. We would definitely like to return to spend more time here.

Fantastic location within 20-4 minutes to all beaches and towns in Salento. Very friendly and relaxing atmosphere. Excellent staff and amazing host to help you with any questions and little tips for the day or evening! All expectations met Thank You!

We found this beautiful hidden gem as we were looking for an “off the beaten path” holiday in the south of Italy. The Masseria is close to the charming towns of Lecce and Laverno. Rooms are beautiful, spotlessly clean, thoughtfully decorated, and there’s something romantic about the original historic stone walls and the skylight that allows you to sleep under the stars and moonlight. The host arranged e-bikes for us to explore the area after a delicious breakfast. She was full of useful tips and recommendations for sights and restaurants nearby. Thank you for a magical time!

arrived during a heavy storm we were feeling better as soon as the gate opened...Raffaella gave us a very warm welcome in her wonderful property. She took the time to explain everything about the place, the room, the SPA and some other details while resting in the breakfast room with an offered beverage. During our 48h stay we were feeling, my friend and I, like being in a paradise with a true caring person in Raffaella, the owner. The room is new, stylish and very comfy. The breakfast is home made and generous and the surrounding is just amazing with trees, plants, big pool and so quiet. Grazie Mille again for this moment.

What a wonderful place to stay. The property is beautiful - a stunning old set of buildings surrounded by perfect garden and a brilliant pool area. It’s well worth asking for the tour and the history! The room was extremely clean, well appointed, and very cool and comfortable, with an excellent shower. The included breakfast was stunning, and made great allowances for my gluten free vegetarian diet. Loads of choice! The newly finished spa is such a great experience, in one of the oldest parts of the property. A beautiful underground pool, with excellent facilities. Lastly, our hosts were simply wonderful. Full of conversation, so happy to give recommendations, book meals for us, and went so far above and beyond what I would expect. Truly the perfect hosts. A wonderful stay!
