We loved the entertainment staff and activities they created, particularly those in the evening. This is definitely a place for families. The sea was beautiful and all facilities (football, volleyball, archery, swimming) are great. The room was small and basic but sufficient.

Le Cale d’Otranto is the most amazing place in Puglia. We have stayed there for three times now, and we are eager to come back. The rooms are cozy and authentic with a charming terrace or a small yard. The food is fantastic. The entertainment holds high class singers, actors, dancers and athletes. Everywhere you look there is an incredible view and atmosphere. An absolute must see.

We had a lovely stay in this hotel. The room was super clean, with amazing facilities and balcony. Only a 15 to 20 min walk into the old town. The pool area was great, and we also made use of the spa which was very relaxing.

Mixed review here....quite a good room on same level as reception....we were lucky, lots of steps to the restaurant and pool not good for young families and older guests in my opinion. The room was quite good for four adults with two bathrooms but aircon died on our last night and we melted!! Received a nominal 25 euro discount....not good enough. The personalized service we received was second to none , I’d like to make a special mention of Ivana who was available and accommodating of any request we had. We truly wanted for nothing. The trip was extremely enjoyable. In particular the housing and service was excellent. I enjoyed the sunset cocktails and the terrace at the sunset bar. Guiseppe and the front office team as well as the housekeeping were noteworthy. Big shout out to Mauro snd the GM Victor!

We just left 4 incredible days in Otranto at this wonderful hotel. The staff goes above and beyond to cater to their guests. The rooms are lovely and spacious and kept immaculate. An added plus is their free shuttle to the old town , the port, and beach clubs. We had rented a car but it’s quite stressful to figure out the parking. Their shuttle takes the stress out of driving!! HIGHLY recommend...

Very good service shuttle bus to the beach. and the swimming pool very clean and big. the breakfast is quite good. But attention we were asked to pay for 15 euros ''extra service fee'' which was not indicated on the booking.

There must be a reason if this resort won the traveler's choice 2023!! bar and restaurant and reception and cleaning. Efficient in solving every problem and every desire the customer has. A pleasant discovery with entertainment that is never intrusive but always present for those who want a soft holiday. I read negative reviews....mha!? There are plenty of dissatisfied and negative people in life....

I spent the last week of July with my family in this place... the welcome was immediately positive at the reception, the staff were kind, attentive and prepared... the decor left me a little perplexed then and there, very oriental, so many sofas and several Buddha-style statues, a slightly strong smell and a lack of fresh air in the hall didn't immediately give me peace of mind... there were 4 of us...

If you are looking for relaxation this is the right place. Beautiful structure, clean, spacious rooms equipped with all comforts, courteous and helpful staff, food always plentiful and of excellent quality both at breakfast, lunch and dinner. Swimming pool always tidy, excellent shuttle service to the beach. Structure not suitable for those looking for chaos or intrusive animation... Highly recommended...

Our room was very large and clean. Breakfasts were good. The location is great and if you don’t want to pay to park in the hotel there is a free option nearby. The spa area is ok but you have to pay 30 euros per person for 90 mins. The WiFi in our room didn’t work for the first 2 days of our trip which was very annoying and no one seemed to care.

We didn’t stay there. We just used the spa. The spa was very nice! Relaxing. It had several sections which was a nice change from just a pool and sauna. The moose showers with scented water were unique for us and enjoyable. However we did find the sauna didn’t heat up very much, and water poured on the rocks didn’t evaporate violently. It just evaporated eventually. And the steam room didn’t get...

I feel like this hotel could need a renovation, but that’s just my personal opinion when it comes to the style and overall condition. The breakfast was until 10:30, but when we arrived towards 09:55/10:00, some food was already gone and I haven’t seen (4 days) that any additional food would have been added. For example: there was a sign for scrambled eggs and bacon but only on the last day (~9:00)...

We visited this hotel as part of a tour of Puglia. We were a large group but the hotel were able to cater for us really well. Our room was very large with a good sized bathroom. Breakfast had a good selection of hot and cold foods. We had dinner which was lovely.

This is a well situated hotel with less than a 10minute easy walk to the sea. Public spaces were nice but the bedrooms are a lot more basic, no frills , no drink making facilities. The 1st room as a couple was tiny , door didn't shut completely and there was a pair of dirty pants/swim trunks on the balcony! We swapped with our tour manager who as a single person was given a huge, much better room...

Last June, 2024, I was able to enjoy a few days at the Hotel Degli Haethy. I felt at home, or even better! The hotel is very nice,quiet,and very clean, but the best thing it offers is the staff. The hotel is 4* worthy. You do need a car to explore the area around it as there is hardly no public transport.

A clean well located hotel with breakfast that's adequate. What let's it down is the bed is hard and join in middle makes it very uncomfortable. The bed only had 2 uncomfortable pillows also. We had a poor sleep. A topper pad would solve this issue with 2 more quality pillows. No jug and cups jn the room so can't even make a drink.

We were travelling during a very hot period of late may. Reception claimed that it was technically impossible to have the AC on (too cold.. yeah right. we had 28 C all week.) Room was too hot to sleep and street too noizy to hace window open. Would have been a great place had they only spent the money having the AC on. Yes, it is an economical thing, not technical !

We were delighted to return to the Albania this year with our adult sons. The hotel is very clean, very comfortable and in a very convenient location. The selection at breakfast is excellent and regularly replenished and the staff are all very helpful. We have already booked to return next year.

What an amazing place! We just left la carcala and I highly recommend this place to everyone. The bungalow was clean and cosy. The atmosphere over there it's perfect, you feel like at home. We stayed for a couple of nights at Masseria Montelauro and wish we could have stayed longer. The girls have the place running like clockwork. Everything at the hotel was impeccably clean. Such a lovely place. Really calm atmosphere, simple decor, and a nice pool surrounded by shady trees. Delicious local food, and it's lovely to eat under the vines. We also appreciated the advice they gave us about places to eat locally, and the fact that they made reservations for us. It's very near Otranto which is a nice small town with great restaurants and bars.

We stayed here for the first time this year (2025). The masseria is close to Otranto so very easy to go to the town and we really enjoyed our stay there. The Masseria was beautiful. Our room was lovely and the pool and restaurant were as well. The decor is stylish and calming. Nice trees and flowers around the property too, and a tasty aperitivo is served each evening.

We enjoyed our stay here over Easter. The Easter meals were very good. There are some lovely walks nearby.

Charming farm style property and wonderful people who made our stay personal and saw to our every need. A family run business with farm to table cuisine, knowledgable and friendly staff. Pierpaolo was great to our family. I Highly recommend this country style resort, spa, and restaurant.

We loved the swimming pool which was a very good size with plenty of sunbeds. Pool bar was great..special mention for multilingual Claudia who went out of her way to make guests happy. Rooms are spacious and well designed with loads of storage space. Air con worked well. Breakfast was good although the self service area is cramped and the coffee was poor. Restaurant is pricey..the most expensive of...

A very nice Masseria with excellent customer service and facilities. Location Is only a few minutes drive from the centre of Otranto and they provide a shuttle service. The food, both breakfast as well as dinner is from an excellent quality. The cleanness, service and facilities are amazing to spend a beautiful and relaxing holiday

Great Masseria very close to Otranto. Friendly helpful staff and absolutely great pool with nice bar service. Good breakfast with lots of choice . Great bed with medium-soft mattress in a nice room. We really liked our stay here! They have a free shuttle to the center of Otranto which is also really nice.. sandy beaches at 25 min drive , great snorkeling spots in Orte (30 min walk) and Porto Bardisco

Great hotel, well located outside Otranto (an electric golf cart bring you there in 5 mins in the evening) The breakfast and the restaurant are high level as well as the pool area. Very helpful people (who couldn’t help to sort out the broken WiFi that week)
