Hotel Corallo in Santa Maria al Bagno

Nous avons été déplacé sur un autre établissement 'hôtel Piccadilly" (même propriétaire, même gamme d'hôtel à 10 métres de l'hôtel prévu) car il n'y avait pas assez de client suite fin de saison. Nous avons eu chambre face à la mer. très agréable, très propre. Personnel très gentil.

Only commenting the restaurant here. The food was good - nothing extra but still good. 3 stars goes to the Chef in the kitchen.

The service though is....random...as if we've been snubbed..for not wearing Channel or Gucci...even if the watch I was wearing costs twice the price of their Omega Seamaster and Rolex air king...
So appearances seem to matter a lot in this place, like the plate with 2 scampis that are entire and left as an exercice to you to peel... Hands wiper have been provided after the plates were removed, so i was wondering with my pancho and expensive watch if I had to use my fingers in front of the Gucci-wannabe-have-you-seen-me people...So it looks nice and fancy but it wasnt simple to eat it correctly.

Other than that we were between a old lady that would give water to its dog, on the chair of the restaurant, next to us... His name must be Gucci or Prada. Meanwhile in the back, baby Versace was crying a lot throughout our meal.
Awesome experience.

To finish, coperto at 2,5e is a bit Gucci-price, but at least different kind of breads were provided to us so we've seen worst for almost the same... Even if we know that its the same paste you use for the pizza,. nothing's wrong with that, on the contrary, one has to pay for expensive watch, if the watches i've seen around some wrists are not fake ones.

Nice food, but atmosphere not brilliant.
