Palazzo Insula in Gallipoli

One of my best B&B!
The location is perfect surrounded by good restaurants, bistros and many nice places !

It's a magical place, the property is beautiful and you can easily get around on foot! The welcome is kind and helpful... breakfast is served on a wonderful terrace overlooking the historic center and the quality of the products, from savory to sweet, is excellent! I hope to return soon and I recommend everyone to stay in this truly magical place where you can breathe in all the history of the place! ♥️

We LOVED our stay here in this beautiful converted villa and would be back in a heartbeat!!! It’s still run by the lovely family who own the villa. All of the rooms are stunning and there are so many gorgeous communal rooms to enjoy including a ballroom as well as a terrace which our room opened up to. Our room was huge and very clean and we had a private external bathroom down the hall. Breakfast was delicious and simple. A pasticciotto fresh from the bakery with fruit and coffee. The location was perfect - right in the centre of old town Gallipoli. We highly recommend this place!!!

Exceptional B&B, located in the beautiful historic building of Gallipoli, dating back to 1500, with spacious rooms, furnished and maintained in style. Beautiful sitting rooms act as anterooms and to not miss anything, there are also two beautiful terraces. All well cared for and spotless.
Located in the historic center, 3 min. from the access bridge in the historic center, and 5 min. walk from the beach of Purità.
Comfortable and quiet place, as it is located in the pedestrian area, where traffic is limited, access allowed only for any unloading / loading of luggage. And then the icing on the cake - owner Isa, of great culture and kindness and an innate cordiality, which makes the stay truly REAL. I highly recommend. Soon!

A charming and well maintained heritage residence with lots of interesting common lobbies and terraces ....this has to be one of the largest rooms under the BNB title that I have lived in with 40' ceilings and lots of space , storage and a private bathroom even if a short distance from your room. The breakfast is unlimited with cereal, eggs on order, fruit , breads, cheeses and beverages with caring hosts. After a fortnight in Insula it will be difficult adjusting in any accommodation! Also in the main street of Old Gallipoli by the beautiful cathedral and cafes... be prepared for the bells!
Will return if in the area again..worth the luxury of Old Italy.
