This hotel was amazing and the staff were so lovely and attentive. The only thing that could be improved is that the bed was really firm (no mattress topper) but other than that the room was perfect. Excellent property, the restaurant alone is a destination place, and having the hotel located in the middle of the shopping area is positioned perfectly, built on the side of the mountain along the Almafi Coast. Rooms are beautiful and the view is beyond compare .

But with no heating in the end of October, just a blankett, and charging 1.50eu for small water when a room costs 2300eu a night seems rather mean. Couldn’t fault the hotel and the free porter service, as to reach the hotel involved 270 steps. Breakfast was lovely and the view from the hotel well worth the steps. We were also closest to the quieter beach which was lovely. Was just missing a kettle and tea & coffee facilities. The views are amazing, the breakfast in the room/ on the balcony is something to look forward to as you get to wake up and take in the stunning views of Positano and the coast. Our trip was cut short due to an accident, they could have not been more helpful, they packed our luggage for us so I could just come back from hospital and grab. Loved staying in this cozy b&b Angela and Nicola were so sweet and took such good care of us during our stay with them. Felt like we were staying with our grandparents. They really helped make our stay in Positano a memorable one. The property is pretty but it was difficult to get to from the boat landing with no instructions from the hotel. Felix made dinner reservations for us each night but he always seemed annoyed with us. That made the stay very uncomfortable.

Located 25 minutes away from Positano. Taxis are rare and crazy expensive and the road has no sidewalks, so it can be a bit dangerous. The room was small and simple. When its windy it can be very noisy. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was good. Other hotels inside Positano can cost 4x or 5x. Still, I would advise to stay in Sorrento and visit Positano for a day.

The location is ideal. Also the view of the balcony on the sea which is absolutely amazing. The receptionist lady sounds sooo formal and serious, actually not very friendly. Cool hotel near a walkable beach, but be prepared for a lot of walking up and down. I thought the hotel was a little too old school for me, but I appreciate the sentiment it gives. It’s just not my cup of tea. Had a porter that helped me with luggage during check in and check out. Very good customer service and would recommend this to people.

I loved everything about Il Moro Di Positano! The view when you get off the elevator is incredible!! Our room was large and comfortable, and our patio was huge with the most amazing view!! I couldn’t recommend this place more! They had the absolute friendliest staff, the rooms were so charming, the breakfast was fantastic with a beautiful view and the area was great. I enjoyed how quiet it was compared to the main square yet it was walkable to get to the main area. I hope to be back here in my lifetime and reminisce on all the great memories we made here!
