Hotel Liverpool in Cervia

Everything is easy and pleasant - owners and staff are super kind and genuine, food is delicious, the pool is a gem, the sea is a quick stroll away. Highly recommend the "Ugo" aperitivo poolside before dinner (including the non-alcoholic version for kids!). If you look for a quiet spot to explore this part of Italy, this is it!

I was with my family [tot people: 6 (1 child and 5 adults)] a week from 15 August to 22 August. Deserved 3 stars with many pros but also some cons on the details that would make this hotel from 3 stars superior to 4.
PROS: -pool always open to the public, modern
- hotel completely renovated on the outside
- kindness, professionalism, promptness, hospitality, familiarity, speed, happiness and positivity of the two owners (family-run hotel), of the daughters and of the waitresses always present. these people make the hotel real strong point.
-food at the level of a 4-star hotel, many varieties of dishes in the buffet, both for breakfast, lunch and dinner. dishes and dishes that can be both common in all hotels, and more sought after to find (eg: pasta with monkfish or shrimp sauce on a bed of peppers or risotto with cheese and zucchini). Simplicity but a lot, a lot, a lot of taste and goodness in every dish.
- children's / rest area equipped with table football and table tennis, sofas and a small playground for children
-breakfast in the morning in the garden (which is not common in today's especially modern hotels)
-lido on the beach (Andreucci) very equipped and equipped with every comfort

CONS: -there is no entertainment for children
-we had two rooms: one double (2 people) and one communicating for families (4 people / 5 beds). the difference between the two chambers was abysmal. it felt like being from one hotel to another. the double one was ultra modern, new and very beautiful, but it had flaws, the TV did not work on any channel, the minibar was not there initially, and we had it put by Gianni (owner) later at our request, the safe was broken and the technicians never came to fix it while staying at the hotel and lastly the wifi network took very little.

the other room, the one for families, was very spacious except the bathroom, not renovated and very old, even if equipped with all comforts and all in all very comfortable, except for the WI-FI network, which did not take in the room itself, as if it didn't exist. Also, a nice little curiosity, our minibar (present in the family room) was supported by a gospel.

in conclusion, I hope I have helped you with this detailed review. I would stay in this hotel again, the holiday was very pleasant and relaxing. they really lack some extra care on some details to give 5 stars but the hotel is fully promoted and I recommend it to all people who are looking for a hotel where there are all total comforts and to all people who are reading this review.
