Hotel Colorado in Cesenatico

made a last minute booking for my son and I to stay at this hotel for the weekend as we are in italy travelling around. Specifically booked a twin room which they accepted but when we got there it was a double. To say the manager could not give a damn would be a massive understatement. Had to ask for extra bedding as they just couldnt or wouldn't come up with any solution to the problem. Then the one morning I was downstairs working early and asked if I could get a coffee at 7:45 to be told that breakfast is from 8 - fair enough I can wait 15 minutes within the next 5 minutes loads of people sat at their tables eating breakfast seemingly the 8 am embargo only applied to me 😂

What a scam ! Please read my review and aviod this hotel if you can.
We have paid for 2 days all inclusive option.
On arrival they have advised us,that we need to decide the meals straight away.
6 choices and you can choose max 2 options plus one desert.
We didn’t like the menu at all,plus when have asked for a coffee for a dinner,they said the coffee is extra.
On all inclusive vacation…
We wanted to leave first night,they have advised us,that we cannot as we would loose all the money.
Hotel has advised us,that we can contact the booking and we can change the all inclusive option to bed and breakfast.
So we did.
The receptionist has asked for our bank details,so they will send our money back,but of course they have not.
Booking is asking us to contact the property,but the property is not responding…

Please,if you want to go for a nice vacation,book something else,not this hotel…

Not a 4 star! The rooms should be modernized, they are small with a past style. Unfortunately I found the breakfast to be really low quality both desserts and cafeteria. The prices are exaggerated, 150 € a night in a double is really too much for the service offered. Not to mention the tiny single for € 70. Another negative aspect is the parking away from the hotel in an open, unguarded space bordered by a gate that we promptly found open despite the mandatory closure for users. Furthermore, the hotel does not even have a left-luggage office, we were offered to leave them in a corner of the hall! The only positive thing is the cleanliness of the rooms and the friendly staff. Overall I don't recommend it!
