Approx 15min walk from train station, which can feel like 45min in the heat! Location is very close to walk to attractions, tourist office and many places to eat. Beautiful reception area, but the rooms are very basic, no complimentary tea/coffee/water! Front desk service was amazing, especially Fabricio! Buffet was quite basic too - lots of pastries!

The location is very good. The building itself and the interior of the room are old (the shower curtain was a little broken), but there are no problems. Shampoo, soap, and a hair dryer are provided. When I arrived, the front desk asked me if I wanted to take a cruise, so maybe they could help me with reservations. I was told they would hold my passport for about 10 minutes to check in, so I went to my room before the registration was finished. I got it back when I passed by the front desk to go out.

Fantastic location and kind, helpful staff. Clean, comfortable, spacious room. Very nice lobby with really cool light fixtures.
Be aware that if you depart a cruise boat in Ravenna getting a cab from the train station (or anywhere else your shuttle may drop you) to any hotel is going to take a while. Relax and wait it out. Just as we were checking in there was a couple who had walked from the train station to Hotel Bisanzio each dragging two suitcases because they didn't want to wait for a taxi. I think they regretted not waiting in the taxi line.

Loved my stay at this hotel. Stayed here twice recently. Staff are very kind and helpful. Not so many guests staying at the hotel and bar opens on demand. Lovely to sit there in the evening when you return to the hotel after dinner. Rooms very in size but are good and easy to relax in. With all the historic landmarks in town exploring is more on the agenda than staying in your room. Good location: Revanna is all within walking distance and there are lots of nearby restaurants, markets and the historic sites. Great place to stay.

When you think of a 4 star rating for a hotel, you just have to go back in time a few decades for this hotel.
You actually have mostly everything that you need, but the rooms are very dated. Also, in my room there were styrofoam cups. I had to go downstairs to get ceramic coffee cups. Obviously I've seen styrofoam cups in hotels before but none of them were claiming to be 4 star. The wifi connection in my room was not consistent, but I have data so I used that. The lobby is elegant and the attention at reception is excellent. I would stay again now that I know to expect: 'old school'
