Reviews
My wife and I have been to over 40 countries and this was the worst accommodation we have ever stayed in.
First of all, the disrespect began when, early in the morning on the day of check-in, we received an email from the hotel saying that they could not accommodate us and that we would be sent to another hotel in the same chain, the Brezza Hotel.
However, the hotel did not even have hot water available, an item that we consider basic in any type of accommodation. The elevator did not work and they put us on the third floor. The hotel looked run down with cracked windows in the hallways and worn paintwork, but that was not the worst part.
They lied to us saying that the hot water would be restored in 1h and 30m, but that was not what happened.
The next day, when I went to ask the receptionist about the problems and pay the "tourist tax", she was very rude, she wrote 30 euros on a piece of paper, insinuating that I couldn't complain, that it wasn't "fair" because they had offered sandwiches (cheap lettuce and ham sandwiches) and I had paid a low price for the stay, even though that was the promotional price I found on the offer website, but I would never have closed the deal under those conditions, especially in a place by the sea. I insisted on paying the "tourist tax" and she wouldn't accept it.
Tried to flatter us with these cheap sandwiches the day before, but what we wanted was the basics, to be able to take a hot shower in a clean room and in a minimally decent.
General appearance:
Rooms, balconies, fixtures (semi-rusted railings ..) etc. Remained at the end of the 70s, maximum early 80s.
1 - there was no toilet paper;
2 - shower (very narrow!) With locked door - semi-flooded bathroom (".. tomorrow we will call the maintenance technician .." - have you seen it "you"?) Well, no words! ;
3 - Tiny sink !;
4 - no minibar;
5 - very noisy air conditioner;
6 - two 1/2 'amari del capo' "offered" paid as 2 whole;
7- Parking proposed at ..: 10 €‼ ️
Unique Pros:
1 - Kindness and Affability of the Waiter Cristian;
2 - the Chef's Kitchen;
3 - the kindness of letting us leave the car under the hotel since we were not using it.
In Conclusion: 3 Stars - But Where ???
Low cleanliness, strange smell in the room.
Bathroom was a nightmare - it was difficult to take a shower in a room measuring approx. 1 m by 80 cm where the sink, toilet and bidet were pressed over which the shower spout was hung - without a handle that may have been, but it has worn out. When trying to bathe, everything in the "bathroom" was flooded and the water, due to the lack of a paddling pool, poured out over the room.
Room size 4 - 3 steps. A cloth hanging in the window - like a curtain. The air conditioning was to be turned on, the noise was amazing. Photos of the rooms - hmmm maybe there is one somewhere, but not the one where I lived.
The food is monotonous every day - pancakes for breakfast, pasta with sauce for dinner and meat with potatoes served by an irritating waiter who treats us as a necessary evil. The "icing on the cake" was serving us a fish-scented dessert (kept in the same cold store). When we noticed - no reaction, apology.
Such early 80's.
The only plus is the location - two steps from a really beautiful, quiet beach where you can relax.
