Hotel Kursaal in Bellaria-Igea Marina

English: A round of applause for all the helpfulness and friendliness offered in this hotel. The structure needs a radical renovation in some aspects and soft in others, a new attention even for the little things. The entrance staircase, first contact with the structure, needs to be painted almost completely. Leaving leaves at the beginning of the staircase is certainly not what a customer expects upon arriving. To get to the rooms defined as deluxe you have to go up a flight of stairs after taking the elevator and the first impact is given by a curtain that covers part of the landing. Two rooms overlook a large terrace, complete with armored door, renovated but without any added value to define them as deluxe. The right part of the terrace is used as a clothes horse. The breakfast room is anonymous, not very well kept. Decent breakfast, both savoury and sweet, but certainly not the one advertised. Good homemade cakes. We did not find a fridge and coffee machine in the comfort rooms. Even the parking is left to neglect, the parking space mares, now unused, should be removed to avoid damage to the wheels of the cars. For pleasure and for work I have traveled for years frequenting hotels and hotels in Italy and abroad, but for the first time I was asked upon arrival the balance of the three-day stay, despite the 30% advance made at the reservation months before. Which I define as a lack of trust and respect towards the customer.

Sorry to write a negative review but I think the previous reviews are about another matter. Hotel in obvious state of abandonment. Rooms from the 80s. In the common areas without air conditioning for those who are excessively hot. Access with keys, if you arrive after 10pm you have to go through the garage. (Put electronic keys??) Poor breakfast, without much choice and without even explaining what there is. Kind staff who struggle to make things go well.

Terrible experience!! Only the renovated rooms...everything else was so sterile it felt like a hospital. Poor breakfast. Reception closed at 11 PM. Total darkness. You had to enter from the back to get into the hotel. Of all the nice hotels in that area, this is definitely one of the worst. Never again!

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights in June... we booked because we had a great time last year... it's a shame they changed management. The website is the same, advertising the same amenities, but the situation has completely deteriorated. The children's trampoline and bicycles that were present in the photos last year are missing this year... the excellent breakfast that used to be offered, with homemade cakes, freshly made pancakes, a kids' corner... are just a memory... now a central table with unlabeled and poor-quality products... it's definitely not the breakfast that was so advertised... even outsiders came last year... now they offer it on the website, but what you find is truly scandalous. The only positive note was that the room was clean... at least that's what we need to be honest and advertise the new management...
