CheckIn: uncoordinated and poorly communicated (in another hotel, not far away. Call necessary --> needed several attempts to reach a member of staff --> unable to describe the way)
Employee on site in the other hotel spoke neither English, German, French or Spanish, only Italian --> unfortunately I can only speak basic Italian, with which communication is not sufficiently possible. On my entire round trip I didn't meet anyone in the service who didn't at least speak English.
Accommodation: shabby and a long investment backlog in the equipment. Shower head didn't last, walls and ceiling with stains, pipes (exhaust air) patched with parcel tape --> smell of food when a neighbor was cooking.
The beds are miserable, so I would have preferred to have slept on the floor. But that wasn't possible with the double mattress.
The shower is so narrow that I hit the shower rod and the door when turning.
The price is massively overpriced for the accommodation even if the location is good.
Booked because of the good reviews, which we cannot understand afterwards.
