Took me a while to find the hotel, especially as Google kept trying to send me down a one way street.

From the outside, the building looks like a 1960s horror. Inside, a LOT of work has been put into transforming it into a lovely boutique hotel. All rooms and breakfast room are on the first floor, but there's a lift. It's slow, but this is because it's a stealth lift, and its mechanism is silent, so no one is disturbed by it. My room was compact, but had everything I needed, and I slept like a log . Breakfast was plentiful, both with continental, and several tarts/cakes.

I wanted to post some things home before completing my journey, but the Italian post office wasn't having any of it. The hotel was wonderful. I left the package with them, along with the money for postage, and I immediately unstressed!

Not too bad. Only annoyance is handing the key in whenever you leave but I get it

The location is not the best in ancona but the staff and comfortable rooms make up for it.

I had an amazing stay, would highly recommend Ankon hotel, the gentleman at the desk was very lovely and helpful and made sure I was prepared for my early flight. I had a beautiful single room with a huge bed and would definitely come back to Ankon hotel.
