What a great place. To be honest I’d like to keep this fantastic place a secret but that would be unfair to the friendly/helpful/lovely people that own and run this place. What a setting - right on the lake. We swan, paddle boarded, lounged around, drank, ate and generally had the most wonderful time. The food was excellent - authentic and delicious and very very good value. I want to go back now.

We were on a rugby tour with Harrogate RUFC. Fantastic location and accommodation. The staff, food and drink was amazing. Looking to go back on family trip.

The staff were amazing and looked after our group very well indeed. The food and service at the restaurant was fantastic. The staff were very helpful, giving us local advice as well as organising boats for us to use on the lake.

What a fantastic weekend we had at the Lido Verbano. We were a large Rugby group of 60 Dads and U15 boys, but all our questions and booking was handled brilliantly by Greta. Margerita made sure the check in was super smooth, and was on hand all weekend for any questions and coordinating meal times, she even organised an amazing boat experience for us - nothing was too much trouble. We were blown away by the whole Bar/Restaurant team, who served us some delicious food and were very attentive to us across the stay. Rooms were great, beautiful access and scenery on the Lake. Would 100% recommend! Thanks again everyone

Absolutely shocking site - claims they have quiet hours after 10.30pm but the “entertainment” is still blaring out at full volume at almost midnight. Our kids were exhausted after 4 nights here! Would not recommend if you enjoy your sleep.

Unfortunately a quite bad experience, with very rude, incompetent, and incredible petty staff. I had 4 interactions with them, all bad. They let my wife and baby wait in 37° to sort out some admin They booked our pitch 3 times that day! (No kidding) When we finally arrived to the pitch we found out it’s occupied already for 5 days and the neighbours said they had the same problems earlier and had to change as well! They tried to take my Passport in custody and use our deposit and prepayment to pressure us. I even heard similar things from other campers, while there. They said, this was pretty new behaviour, and not happening in previous years. The staff reacted to all this with rude arrogance, always claiming: “it’s our policy”. In general the campsite has a very mass-tourist flair. It seems like they just want to optimise their profit. It’s the exact opposite of a family atmosphere There are regular loudspeaker announcements across the whole compound that give you a prison feeling and it’s only a few miles down from the runway of Milan International Airport, so commercial airliners pass over it every 5 minutes very low directly after take-off. Huge mistake !AVOID!

The campsite is in an excellent location next to the lake/river with a lovely wide grassy beach which receives plenty of shade in the afternoon. Easy access for SUP or kayak and a platform you can jump/dive off. The holiday was ruined somewhat by the campsite entertainment which took place on the beach rather than in the clubhouse where a DJ played music until midnight on at least two occasions (and on one occasion, the campsite next door did the same until midnight) We were also informed of the day’s entertainment at regular intervals through the tannoy system which was just meters from our tent. These announcements were made often at 9am. Completely unnecessary.

Terrible place, cramped lanes, tight turns, unclean facilities. In particular the motorhome services are appalling, one is just impossible use as it is at the back of a building, and the other is very tight. We were also had to pay €10 because we were British, despite telling them that we had paid with a European bank account

Stayed here while touring Europe on my motorbike. Middle of September so quiet.
The lady I dealt with, Arianne, couldn’t have been more helpful.
Lovely grass pitch by the Lake.
Shower facilities decent.
The restaurant/bar was excellent. Good food reasonably priced.
The site is ideally located as a stopover.
Would highly recommend.
