Grand Hotel Dino, Baveno1 / 30

Piedmont, Baveno, Corso Giuseppe Garibaldi, 20 🧭 Map
Clean rooms, friendly staff and great views. Our Lakeview room was on the small side but perfectly usable.
Stunning views from tired hotel Stayed in junior suite with lake view - spacious room with magnificent view. Room decor was tired and needs refreshing and modernising. Breakfast was not good - went 40 minutes before end of service and food was depleted, no tables set, and staff already packing away. Better food in local restaurants.
Beautiful facility with amazing views from the balcony of Lago Maggiore and the mountains beyond. Convenient to the ferry stop and local restaurants. The breakfast buffet is one of the best I have ever seen, quite luxurious.
A nice stay with a disappointing check out. Me and my girlfriend spent the weekend in this hotel. Worth mentioning, this is a conference hotel and probably works best for bigger groups. Not a bad place for a romantic weekend but as an example the breakfast is served in a giant ballroom and not so intimate. The location with a private beach is perfect and in early September it was almost empty! Service...
This is a beautiful hotel with classic room decoration and stunning views of Lago Maggiore. Truly a visual gem with great service and recreation for any traveler.
Staff are over and above on every detail - music at night was fantastic and the food was amazing! Thank you Grand Dino!!!

Nice service, the staffs are very nice and helpful! Best location and very close to train station, will book again!
The train station is just across the street, very convenient, and museums are all within walking distance. The room was clean, but the service wasn't great.
The location of the hotel is best for train travellers. The staff is so good that the receptionist provided us very good information we needed. However, the room is rather small.
Convenient location, clean room, great service. Highly recommended for any travellers!!!!
The room is small, the location is good, the service is good, and the breakfast is average, which can meet basic needs.

This upscale hotel is located in a prime area of the old town. Nearby attractions such as the Egyptian Museum, Roman Street, the Church of Turin, and the Central Railway Station are all within walking distance. The hotel even boasts a Michelin-starred restaurant, a pleasant surprise… After unlocking the massive wooden door and entering the building, another door leads to a spacious and tall staircase...
Is a 4 star hotel. I've to give it 5star as we paid only Euro 225 for a very big room. The staff are all so nice too. When you arrive, you'll be shocked as it is a wooden entrance as if belong to someone's house and locked. But it is actually link to another swankier hotel around the corner call Grand Hotel Sitea. If you're fit and don't mind stairs and love old buildings, then Royal palace will suit...
The location is excellent. Just a few blocks from Piazza San Carlo. Restaurants on via Alberto excellent including the hotel bistro and bar. The desk staff is helpful and pleasant. Loved Jose. Interesting outdoor breakfast with turtles in the garden. Highly recommend.
Well, let's just say the building itself seems to be the biggest selling point. But I seriously suspect Ctrip is just stirring things up. With facilities like this, I wouldn't doubt it even if it weren't rated 5 stars. Absolutely not recommended. 5000 RMB a night? What a rip-off! The ceiling is peeling, the walls are like a guesthouse, the furniture is like a cheap motel, and the electrical panels...
Wow! This hotel experience was one of the best ever. The staff, particularly the reception clerk and the butler for the suites property, were beyond attentive, helpful, and supportive. The room was incredible, but the service was over the top!
This was our second stay in one year… absolutely the place to stay in Torino. In addition to the beautiful suites…. We stayed in the royal suite last year and Room 602 this year…the service is impeccable… made all the better by Marco the butler. We want Torino to stay quiet so don’t go! But we love it and will only stay here! Just a note of explanation…. The suites are in an ancient building across...

Excellent hotel with the best value for money
The room was spacious and the service was excellent. The location right next to the train station is very convenient. The restaurant was also quite good, and the included breakfast was decent. I also tried dinner, which was good too. It exceeded my expectations!
Excellent location Extremely attentive employees could not have expected more especially when I had problems with charging my IT devices
The hotel is located right next to the train station 🚉. After breakfast and collecting our luggage 🧳, we could walk right into the train station square in less than five minutes. Cleanliness: Why was the water from our room's kettle so cloudy? I don't understand. I hope the hotel will check the kettle in our room. The shower gel 🧴 in the room smelled amazing, a classic European scent, I loved it...
If there would be 6 stars for a facility it would go to this hotel. Great team that runs the place, Amazing large rooms, italian design in good taste, superb breakfeast included , available parking. City centre location and in easy walking distance . Book directly with the hotel website. Surprisingly Better pricing. Highly highly reccomended...cant ask for more
The location is excellent, the front desk staff are welcoming, and the room is spacious—I was very satisfied with the room in Turin. Room cleaning was decent, and the breakfast had a good variety of options. However, the coffee was a bit disappointing. Former factory. Ceilings in the room are 3.5 meters or higher. Upon check-in, I noticed a huge amount of dust. Nice toiletries. Very good breakfast. Free private parking. Friendly staff.
Nice hotel. Big clean room. Very quite. Service was good, room service was also good, not too expensive (the service charge). Location wise is not central, as is on the site of the old Fiat factory. But is close (walking distance to the metro, that provide easy access to the city centre. Free parking
The room is big enough, but the room is poorly equipped. There is no coffee or coffee machine, and no electric kettle for boiling water. The front desk service attitude is very average. The hygiene is OK. The restaurant service is very good.
This is one of the few hotels I stayed in Italy that I was very satisfied with. The room was big enough, the surrounding area was convenient, and the price was right. Even during the Turin Winter Games, the price did not increase. It is worth recommending.
The various references to the history of Turin and Fiat are pleasant, and the service and staff are kind, but overall, the property feels quite cold and not very inviting. The room was okay, although the bed was not on par with those in many other NH hotels. The breakfast was absolutely disappointing—very standard, with poor-quality cappuccinos and truly basic offerings. We expected much better.
Such a fun hotel as you're in the old Agnelli / Lingotto Fiat factory and you can feel the history all around you. The hotel is co-located with a large shopping mall with some decent restaurants so you have loads to choose from. Take the lift up to the old test track in the roof where there's a gallery and cafe / bar. You also walk the historic test track and take in amazing views of the Alps.

Only negative was high hotel restaurant prices so we eat out. Lots of great options. Plus no coffee machine or kettle in the room.
Room well appointed and super clean. Good amenities. Upgraded to lake view which is lovely. Staff very friendly.
Excellent hotel in Stresa. Palace life for a few hours. Romantic breakfast. Super comfortable room.
The hotel is beautiful. The location gave us options for relaxing, restaurants, and walking distance to shopping. Outdoor pool/bar, breakfast, atmosphere was great made better by the staff who are super friendly and helpful.
Just spent three nights in this beautiful hotel, visually stunning with lovely gardens and a pool. It’s perfectly located for. 4 minute stroll into Stresa town centre for lots of bars and restaurants. You can catch a ferry to the Borromean Islands just in front of the hotel. Breakfast was awesome, lots of choice and a beautiful setting.
The Regina Palace is a hotel from bygone days of classic architecture with huge imposing rooms with lots of style. The service from the staff in all areas was exceptional, friendly and professional. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

We were given an upgraded room and our suite was huge - plenty of room for 4 people (and having 2 toilets is an excellent feature). Beds were comfy too. The hotel is centrally located, with easy access to the train station, main tourist sights, and shopping areas.
Great location, staff and cleanliness!
Large rooms and great bathrooms. Do wish the rooms were a bit more modern in terms of the TVs, outlets, and wish carpet was cleaner or there was tile in the rooms. TV was very old with poor choices and there were no outlets or usb options near the bed making it difficult to charge my phone that I use for my alarm.
Good hotel, good price. But, for 5 stars you would expect a bit more. And, furthermore the rooms are very far away... we needed to walk to the first floor and then cross to the other block.
Room was really far away from main entrance. And its very difficult to reach exit because hotel has many blocks. Spa was not included. They offer only few hot dishes for breakfast. I think for a 5 stars hotel i would expect more.
Definitely not a 5 Star Hotel maybe 4, went for the kids club for our 7 yr old it was a joke, a bunch of kids crammed into a tinny room. Our room was very nice and large but It was so hot and only 1 small window opened we complained all 5 days and they did nothing. Staff not helpful at all

Have been before. Under new ownership. They are doing some needed refurbishment. I like the place. Large rooms with all amenities. Decent breakfast. Behind a big Carefour. I did not see real restaurants in the area, but a number of fast food places nearby.
The hotel fulfilled all our needs during our stay
Many antique and vintage clocks, typewriters, lamps. Wonderful breakfast. Super nice staff.
Friendly and helpful staff. Amazing breakfast. Comfy beds. Interesting vintage and antique items all around the hotel.
Business in Novara On business I need a nice room, good wi-fi, easy parking, breakfast and attentive staff. The Bussola provides all these. It's away from the centre of Novara, but for me that's not a drawback. There are restaurants within walking distance. Parking is close by in the street. Breakfast is as expected in Italy. There's no bar but beer and other drinks may be purchased from the reception...
Gigantic bed, pity I slept there alone. Everything clean, beautiful breakfast. All smooth. Good location, 1km walk to the town centre. Next to a large Carrefour and a café. I have been here before and I am sure will be there again. in the town.

Rooms very clean, excellent breakfast and great location. Definitely a great staying, pity was that the fire alarm went on at 3am but it happens
The property was really good, in 5mins walking distance from torino porta susa station. Fantastic bar, absolutely clean rooms. Our room had a bath tub which was really big and lovely. Our only complaint is the lack of Tea/coffee setup in the room,I mean.. a kettle isnt a big ask. Nevertheless we would surely book this hotel again if we are in this region.

So the hotel in itself is not so bad, it's pretty clean, the cleaning people do a really great job and the breakfast is decent. Our stay at this hotel was very pleasant. Everything was in order, but what impressed me the most was the cleanliness. From the courtyard to the room, everything was perfect. This hotel could give lessons to others on how to properly maintain a clean environment.
Great hotel for your stay in Turin. Close to a few tram and bus lines that will take you to town centre within 20mins. Staff is accommodating, modern and good facilities, silent a night, good breakfast. Sure value.

recently renovated, everything perfect except that the door is not soundproof, a bit noisy in the morning
Good hotel near the train station. All the sights are within walking distance. Excellent bed. Didn't like the breakfast.
Good location for the central station. Hotel is being upgraded so there are some areas that seem unfinished. Staff for friendly and room was nice
Facilities: The facilities are okay, but not new. Hygiene: The hygiene is acceptable, fairly clean. Environment: The environment is also alright, there's a balcony. However, parking is inconvenient; there are only parking spaces at the entrance, and you have to buy a ticket yourself. Service: The service is quite good and very friendly, but the breakfast is just so-so.
The location is excellent, just across the street from Porta Nuova train station, a few minutes' walk from the station. I have just returned from a Blake's tour to lake Maggiore.we stayed at this hotel . I could not fault it .The staff were brilliant the meals were great, and the rooms were good(the only reason I gave 4stars was we had no view. It is situated on the lake near the ferry and tourist boats

It is a very nice place with a very welcoming staff.
This hotel was built for the 2006 olympics as the athletes village, it’s very basic accommodation at a low price. Perfect location in the centre of town. Rooms could do with a few tweaks… more USB sockets, particularly next to the bed; a couple of types of pillow (bit firmer would have helped); a duvet in a duvet cover not just between two huge sheets; milk (even UHT) for the travellers who like a bit of milk in their morning tea; a shower that doesn’t require gymnastic ability to get in and out of the bath tub...

Hotel located at the northern entrance to the city, between the green and industrial zones. Relatively quiet and close to the tram (200-300 m) which leads to the city center (allow 15-20 minutes). Spacious room, fairly well-equipped. Fairly generous breakfast buffet (for €15, it can...). Overall, good value for money.

Location is not that great because it is in a very secluded area. The staff were helpful and friendly. The rooms were just fine. The breakfast is mostly sweet based items and remains the same for everyday.
I will start with a couple of negatives, the settee in the room had 2 largish cigarette burns on one of the seats, when pouring, the water from the kettle would go over the surface.
