Was almost the perfect stay, everything was great from the large areas around your bed, beds comfy, pillows, blankets everything great. Kitchen big and clean even if some stuff gets taken by others. Bathroom is clean, good shower pressure etc cant fault 90% of it

The only reason this didn't get a 5 is due to the load music played over the weekend, I was running the marathon and the night before the load music wasn't ideal even though I was 2 floors up. Otherwise great hostel

I was in the room 133. Overall it was clean - the bad, 2 bathrooms and everything else. They provided a towel
Also there are lockers in every room (the lock itself for additional cost, anyway you can bring yours )
Nice kitchen with everything you’ll probably need
The only thing I would add - curtains for the bad, cause the sleeping place was only fenced for 1/3

Highly recommend this hostel. We booked a 3 person room as we were travelling as a group of 3 friends and it was the perfect room with two bathrooms. pillows and bed could be a little more comfortable but it is what it is

I didn't stay at the hostel. This review is about the customer service. I made a booking using Booking a long time ago, I looked at the reviews on Booking but I didn't see anything worrisome. Before arriving I looked up the hostel on Google Maps, and saw that there are a lot of reviews with the keyword "bedbugs". I started reading, and was horrified. Apparently the hostel has had issues with bedbugs in the past. There were reviews consistently, from different guests, over the past 1.5 years, about bedbug issues. I would have kept my reservation, but what convinced me that I shouldn't stay at Combo Torino were the replies by the hostel to the bedbug reviews. The replies from the hostel were generic and ignorant of the real issue. In one reply, the hostel claimed that "bed bugs are an international issue" and that there's nothing they could do about it... I've stayed in tens of hostels all around Europe, how is it possible that none of them had bedbugs?! The lack of proper apology to the guests and lack of addressing the real issue convinced me I shouldn't stay. I requested a free cancellation of my reservation (the deadline for normal free cancellation was past) but the hostel denied it. Fair game. I paid for my reservation in full even if I didn't stay there. I have the right to inform other guests of the experience. I would recommend to other guests to be aware of the issue and reconsider staying at the hostel until at least a year passes with no reviews mentioning bedbugs.

Before I went to sleep, I wanted to say that this was the best youth hostel I'd ever stayed in. The room facilities were excellent and beautiful, but the non-stop bar music late Saturday night ruined everything. I can't imagine anyone sleeping under such a drum corps. Furthermore, I checked the hostel's website and there was absolutely no information about any activities on December 20th. Unless you can sleep under a bar drum corps, I strongly advise against coming here at any time when there's a possibility of any events.
PS: Finally, the staff moved me to a new room, and the noise situation was significantly improved. However, please note that rooms numbered 20 and above (especially around 40) will still be affected by noise at least until 1 am

I had a great experience.

The room design is good, you have alot of space around the bed and it feels private. There is a common kitchen and a laundry room that takes 2 euros for a wash and 2.5 for the dryer. The bar is expensive, I paid 8 euros for spritz Campari but as a resident u get 10% discount.

Everything was full with good vibes, special thanks to the cafeteria staff, very helpful, and cheerful,
much recommended

A very clean and comfortable hostel to stay in — with cozy mattresses, a kitchen, and the possibility to wash and dry your clothes.
In the evening there are parties and a bar, so you definitely won’t be bored. It’s a bit far from the train stations, but there’s a tram and a bus — the hostel staff explained everything to me.

Its a super modern ‘hostel’ - but not at all like the cramped and dirty hostels you may have been to. Theres a mix of dorm and private rooms, and huge common spaces - it doubles as a coworking space in the day time, and is clearly popular with a lot of people coming to work, have meetings, etc. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, and its in a good location, with the mercato and the duomo both less than 5 mins walk away. Would definitely recommend!
