Frankly indifferent hotel with generally efficient staff but who generally lack any personality. Buffet is adequate but uninspiring; house wine rancid, slow to clear tables and crockery too frequently unclean. Bizarre system of being required to buy credit in advance for bar/ food with any unspent surplus retained by the hotel. Beach and pool towels available for hire! Felt generally ripped off

Brilliant hotel, the room was big and had a lovely view from the balcony. Meals were all delicious and staff were great. Only problem was how it was on the side of a hill and quite secluded. Coach ran regularly to Cefalù (the nearby town) which solved this problem. Swimming pool was FREEZING!!

An amazing hotel, so friendly and the hotel is spotlessly clean. It is no trouble for any of the staff to do anything for you. The bar staff are all excellent, especially bar manager Rosario. Such a beautiful hotel, the staff here are incredibly friendly and hospitable, it is more aimed towards Italian customers which is perfect to immerse yourself in the culture. However that being said they have written English and the staff are pretty good at it too. Clean and comfortable room, good location near beach and train station.

The hotel exceeded expectations, it was clean and hygienic, in fact the transportation was very convenient, it was a five-minute walk from the train station, the room had a large balcony where you could sit and drink coffee, it was much quieter than in a small town.

Wonderful place but the pictures don’t do justice. It’s much prettier than what you see on the pictures. The staff were great. Hard to find with Google Maps as it takes you down the wrong path. The location is amazing and the beach is stunning. The only downside is the food as it’s touristy. Everything else was simply amazing.

Very quiet. Solid 3 star amenities. Pool and beach are more than adequate. Resort website says there is tennis but be advised that resort has a single tennis court that charges 15 euro an hour to utilize.

A lovely relaxing place , staff can't do enough for you, house staff clean bungalows everyday. Perfect spot over a quiet bay, recommend shoes for the rocky sea entry. Anybody with mobility issues will struggle with the hill side terrain. Restaurant at resort very good 2 behind it also fantastic. Dated rooms, very old school property. Their main attraction is that fact that it’s right across the beach. Limited amenities in the room (no steamer or iron) and only 2 pillows and they were really flat and low quality. Bed is not comfortable at all. Pool looked nice but we never used it.

A very nice hotel with friendly and helpful staff. A short walk into the pretty town of Cefalu. The tap water for the hotel (and the town) is not the best so make sure you bring/buy bottled water.

The location of the Astra suites is perfect, walking distance to everything, the staff were fantastic and the facilities were excellent.

Room was clean and spacious although trees next door blocked view somewhat but first floor seating area had fantastic views. Service was fine, would have improved with a coffee machine to help yourself at breakfast. Many positives that outweigh the negative. Clean, tidy, friendly and lovely views. Little snack bar next to a clean pool with plenty of beds. Great location! It's smaller and quiet. Some have said the rooms are very small but we have found them suitable for our trip here which included many scenic excursions around town. For as much time as we spent in the room I think this is a solid choice!

The best hotel in Cefalù hands down. Super convenient location 5min from the beach. All the rooms are lovely. We stayed 2 years in a row in different rooms but we LOVE the suite with a balcony and a view of the hill. The hotel is in a great location. It's only a few minutes drive from the center, and the hotel's exclusive beach is also very beautiful! The facilities are average, and the breakfast is poor.

I choose this since it is a two minutes walk from the station. The place probably had some nice rooms, but I had a very small room that was a bit claustrophobic. The shower stall was ridiculously tiny that I had a difficult time taking a shower. Nonetheless, the staff were nice and cordial.

Hotel has an excellent location, steps to old town and to the beach. Receptionists are doing amazing job, are very friendly and helpful. Our room was very basic but clean. Only negative side was the bathroom, it needs total renovation, as it is vey outdated and smelly, despite daily cleaning.

The overall environment of the hotel is good, with a swimming pool and a tennis court. It is located on the mountain, so it is relatively tiring to go back and forth. It is a 15-minute walk from the private beach. There is a bus to and from the beach, but there are fixed times and you cannot make a separate reservation. The room is not soundproof and the facilities are relatively old.

The service in the hotel's restaurants and lobby is also very good. Food quality is also good. There is a private beach, but it is on the other side of Cefalu old street. The exterior with the swimming pool is nice and modern , the interior is outdated but very clean. The kids loved the music and dancing every night at the bar led by amazing animators. We made a last minute booking and they were happy to accommodate us. Excellent location, the room was clean and comfortable, AND QUIET!!! As many places in centro storico in Cefalù, parking is central and you must walk to the hotel. They have an elevator and please remember to use it to visit their rooftop bar. Sunset views from here are not to be missed!

The entry experience was somewhat awkward with having to time your arrival, submit travel documents and pay in advance. That aside, the stay was pleasant, as were the staff. The room was modern and clean, the bed fairly comfortable. And the breakfast was great by European standards.

The host was very responsive, and was accommodating about a change in arrival time, as was the front desk staff. We chose this location based on parking just outside the old city. The walk to the duomo took about 10 minutes, downhill. Parking is free but is first come, first served. We waited a few minutes for a spot to open. The room has a balcony.

Building is under construction so there is no view. Also, it is up on a hill and not so easy to get to from the beach.

Located in a very strategic point of Cefalù, the b&b met our expectations. The very kind and helpful owner... even gave us some advice on how to continue our holiday "on the road". The accommodation is perfect, very close to everything and Pepito is an excellent host, always attentive and available for any requirement. Everything is perfectly planned and it is very comfortable and easy to get to. The city is beautiful, one of the ones I liked the most in Italy.
