I stumbled upon this place by chance, and it was a pleasant surprise for me, as I travel a lot... Franca, the owner, is a professional food and wine taster of the Altopiano di Piné, but also extends to regional excellence.
The breakfast was plentiful and varied (the homemade jams, without sugar or preservatives, were noteworthy)... it's a shame they've temporarily closed down the restaurant business, so I wasn't able to savor the food, which was undoubtedly excellent. 😋
One recommendation: be punctual with your arrival time 😀...
...I'll definitely be back 👍

Unbiased review!
We had dinner, and everything was authentic and high-quality!
Starting with an entree offered by the kitchen: chickpea, lentil, and ginger soup.
Giardiniera (outstanding) with speck, followed by polenta with veal stew and beef stew, both delicious. Finally, vanilla parfait with raspberry sauce, excellent!
Highly recommended for both the quality and the courtesy!

Staying at an inn has a touch of times gone by: it brings to mind travelers stopping in a place where they could rest, eat well, and feel at home. This is exactly the atmosphere at Locanda 2 Camini, where Franca's welcome is genuine and friendly. The rooms, almost all in the attic, are spacious and simply furnished, but everything is functional, very clean, and consistent with the style of the common areas. We also stopped for dinner, and I must say it was a truly wonderful choice! The menu ranges from meat to fish, and even vegan options, with plenty of local dishes. The portions are generous, tasty, and beautifully presented, and the wine list also boasts a very good selection. A traditional sweet and savory breakfast is served, accompanied by juices, fresh fruit, and hot drinks. Even if it's just for one night, a stay at Locanda 2 Camini will truly make you feel at home! We'll be back!

I have visited this place many times over the years. This is a "must stop" place for me whenever I'm in Trentino and I have the opportunity.
On the last occasion, as usual I loved the food, the friendly and efficient service (by Franca Merz -the owner- and her front of house collaborator), and also loved...the prices! I don't know where else in the region you can get this quality of traditional cuisine for such a reasonable amount (also considering the cost of everything in these times).
I had "the classics" I often have: "Rufioi" (vegetable filled parcels, here incredibly light and well-filled) with butter, baccala' mantecato (creamed salt-cod) with capers, and chestnut puree with ice-cream. Rich food, more than adequate portions, yet you don't feel heavy afterwards: always the best mark of good cuisine!

We have recently returned from a stay at this hotel. Ms Franca and her staff are really professional, kind and helpful. Excellent cuisine.

Two weeks ago we stayed at the 2 chimneys inn, we found the staff very kind, the rooms large and comfortable, the excellent and varied cuisine, Mrs. Franca is very nice and welcoming.
comfortable, kitchen

However, it saddens me to see her lack of sensitivity towards my sister, and possibly her rest, and the fact that she did nothing to put us at ease. Finally, a used candle to blow on for a birthday, is just the service that deserves a star. He could have taken less

Chosen by a search engine for a family cultural weekend, we were "welcomed" for lunch. At the next table, two grandparents complained that the 2-year-old girl was crying (out of hunger and boredom): the owner comments aloud with a "if it were for me I would kill them all". Not only did she not apologize, but she tried to plug the piece by saying that "she just wanted to be nice to the regulars".

The lunch, good in flavor, but with gourmet portions that made us leave the table with hunger. Really expensive prices for the amount of food offered.
Let us remember that it is an Inn!

As for the hotel, beautiful details in wrought iron and ceiling with exposed beams, but narrow stairs and dangerous for children because the "railing" is made of ropes. There is no lift. Bulbs free from chandeliers. Cleaning is essential: at the reception there was a wet floor, only around the carpets. At night the pacifier fell under the bed ... fingers of dust. And on leaving, the owner even made fun of our allergic cough.
Watch out for the shower: the third is cold and if done simultaneously with other rooms even without pressure.
Breakfast included in the price, undrinkable cappuccino, good croissants served hot. Little choice, just sweets.

I invite future customers to also observe his responses to reviews. She does not accept suggestions and adds insults to those (ahilei SO MANY!) Who found it rude or not adequate.
Share your experiences, help others make the right choice!
Think about what you would like to know if you were looking for a review about a place to relax. Please describe in detail what you liked and what you didn't.
