Where to stay in San Gimignano

Missleading pictures, poor wifi, poor cleaning This camping is in a good beautiful location but pictures doesn’t really show that your bungalow is down the hill and with no views and the pool (as the picture) is not the camping pool, it is more a public pool and in another area. The bungalow was very small so we couldn’t take any bags in, kitchen a bit old, it was ants everywhere and poor cleaning...

I really liked this camping. Lots of trees, quiet, clean. The restaurant had good prices, good coffee and pastry and good service.

The mobile homes were a great alternative when Via Francigena hostels were full. Friendly people, swimming pool was wonderful , and an easy walk back and forth to San Gimignano.

Extra beautiful location outside of San Gimignano Fantastic location 2.5 kilometres from San Gimignano old centre. Probably one of the most beautiful locations in Toscana. The houses are very small and plasticky, and the restaurant is not very good. You need to have a car to go to other cities or buy a bus ticket at reception. Clean and well-accommodated place but with animals/insects. Right in the middle of the forest. Very good restaurant.

Our stay was truly wonderful, exceeded our expectations. I am still dreaming of the pistachio tartelletta di frolla- it was so delicious. The staff was welcoming and helpful. The cooking class was a fun experience. Breakfast was plentiful and excellent quality. Our room with a terrace (7) was just dreamy. I would recommend this stay to anyone and I hope we will get to visit again in the future.

Endless hospitality, delicious foods and wines. We had a wonderfull time with our family here, celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary. Absolutely recommended!

Must stay this hotel when you go to San Gimignano. Owner family is very friendly, owns vineyard, olive yard, and produces wine, olive oil and honey which we enjoyed a lot with reasonable prices. Special thanks to owner's father who picked us up at San Gimignano and brought us back there with special treatment!

Impeccably groomed grounds, charming stone buildings, tasteful room decor, modern bathrooms, and quality food items for breakfast - make Casanova di Pescille a perfect spot for touring Tuscany. A short drive from San Gimignano, some of it on a dirt road, and you are in paradise. San Gimignano became very touristy in the worst possible way, with hordes of people and cheap trinket shops dominating the...

Family staff was very delightful and made our stay very welcoming. Stone farmhouse and surrounding support buildings and pool very well kept. Breakfast was great with many hot and cold food options. You will not go hungry at breakfast. Dinner at the B&B was very good. Excellent chef. B&B is a great location for your adventures for wineries and visiting neighboring towns like Volterra.

We stayed for 4 nights in June 2025. The accommodation is amazing with well appointed rooms in an idyllic location, well positioned for exploring central Tuscany. The pool and gardens are great for relaxing in and the self service bar is very convenient for a bottle of wine or a cold beer. Breakfast is simple but wonderful in terms of the quality of the food.
