Do not use this site if you have a tent. Tent pitches are carved out sideways from a steep downhill slope, leaving an uneven rocky surface. Almost impossible to drive in ordinary tent pegs. Without doubt the worst tent pitch we have ever experienced, you cannot walk on the pitches barefoot, too painful, rocky stubble. No easy water supply nearby and steep uphill walk to showers etc. given it was the most expensive site we have visited in Italy we feel they are taking advantage of the proximinity to San Gimignano. Staff were remarkably uninterested in their guests. We would not recommend this site.

Missleading pictures, poor wifi, poor cleaning
This camping is in a good beautiful location but pictures doesn’t really show that your bungalow is down the hill and with no views and the pool (as the picture) is not the camping pool, it is more a public pool and in another area.
The bungalow was very small so we couldn’t take any bags in, kitchen a bit old, it was ants everywhere and poor cleaning, wifi was terrible down the hill,
we slept good though, beds where ok, but I wouldn’t choose again.

I really liked this camping. Lots of trees, quiet, clean. The restaurant had good prices, good coffee and pastry and good service.

The mobile homes were a great alternative when Via Francigena hostels were full. Friendly people, swimming pool was wonderful , and an easy walk back and forth to San Gimignano.

Extra beautiful location outside of San Gimignano
Fantastic location 2.5 kilometres from San Gimignano old centre. Probably one of the most beautiful locations in Toscana.
The houses are very small and plasticky, and the restaurant is not very good.
We did not realise this before going, but the swimming pool is not a part of the camping place but a public pool outside the camping.
Nonetheless, we enjoyed our stay very much. It’s a perfect starting point for trips to all of Toscana, and there’s a really nice restaurant, Fuori Porta (Via Roma 6|8) at a walking distance of 2 kilometres towards San GIMIGNANO.
Note that the place is not suited for people with walking difficulties.

Notre lit dans un Mobil home a été envahi, pendant notre sommeil, par des fourmis lors de la quatrième nuit, provoquant notre fuite à l aurore . Le patron a refusé de nous rembourser cette nuit, allant jusqu'à prétexter que c était de notre faute, de ne pas l avoir prévenu lors de la vue de la première fourmi , pendant les premiers jours !!!!

You need to have a car to go to other cities or buy a bus ticket at reception. Clean and well-accommodated place but with animals/insects. Right in the middle of the forest. Very good restaurant.

Superb camp site, very modern and clean facilities, easy to reach and taxi even for big or bulky RVs. Some more accurate information about restaurant opening hours should be published (info at shower facility is different from reception, is different from restaurant entrance, is different from what people tell you, is different from what waiting staff tell you...).
Apart from that: Highly recommended!!!

Great camping grounds. Had cabins, which we used. Very comfortable with small kitchen and fridge/stove. A couple of minutes to San Gimignano is just great.
