Le Cappuccinelle Suites&SPA in Perugia

We spent a lovely short break here. Generously sized luxurious rooms, lovely spa, friendly staff and delicious food. Nothing not to like!

We have just returned from a week-long stay at Le Cappucinelle and our experience has been truly wonderful. From the rural setting, beautiful grounds, lovely rooms, and amazing spa, everything about this place, including the best smelling towels, sparked joy. However, what really stood out for us was the staff, exhibiting genuine kindness and true hospitality. Melissa at the front desk providing us with great advice on places to visit and getting around, Erjon whose humour and lightheartedness lifted our spirits (and definitely has a future career as a film director), and Ana with her impeccable English, undertaking various phone calls on our behalf. Breakfast was a great selection of local and organic produce, overseen by the lovely and kindhearted Monika and Danila, both attending to our needs on a daily basis. The hotel is conveniently located within a 10-minute drive from Perugia city centre and provides a great base to explore the various surrounding towns on the Umbrian countryside. If there is one area that I would like to see improve is to provide residents with more economical options for dinner onsite. With such an abundance of food choices around, the restaurant has opted for Haute Cuisine, which carries a massive premium. However, just by virtue of its location, the hotel does not really cater to passing trade and would benefit instead from offering a more competitive menu that would encourage hotel guests to dine in than seek alternatives. That said, we loved Le Cappuccinelle and already plan to return at the next opportunity (with thanks Melissa for showing us all our room options! :-)). We can only but highly recommend it to anyone seeking a place for refuge and relaxation in this beautiful part of world.

Kind and helpful staff, speaking English. Large well decorated rooms, modern furniture and equipment, comfortable beds. Spa was nice, large and clean swimming pool, relaxing atmosphere. Good food (especially the pasta). Close to Perugia which is a nice city to visit and have diner.

This hotel and spa is a hidden gem! It is located in a amazing spot away from the noise with beautiful facilities and a very spacious room, the spa is just so relaxing and the staff very thoughtful. I totally recommend this place for a getaway or after traveling through Italy to relax and recharge during the route. A true place for wellness.

I really enjoyed the time there! Super attentive staff and food to die for. Breakfast was perfect with a Wide local product to choose from. Room was netly cleaned and the bed comfortable. The Spa outstanding, we also took a massage. You can fell the intimacy of the Place with only 9 rooms. Want to mention Danila, Emanuele, Melissa, the receptionist Who welcomed us so warmly and the Spa Manager and therapist. I am Sorry I did ask the name to all of you!

Only been open for 15 months. Very quiet area, wonderful staff, especially both concierge’s who also served as barman. We stayed in the suite, beautiful room. Breakfast was excellent. Unfortunately Setti restaurant was not open yet but we had a great meal at Flora. Would not hesitate to book this again.

Convenient rural location about 15 min from the airport and under 15 min by car into the centre of Perugia. The hotel has been recently modernised and the bedroom was a good sized duplex, large bed but slight niggle with the pillows and couldn't find any English language TV. The bathroom was fine but the products were so so. Our bedroom location next to the main stairs meant there was some nighttime noise and we could hear the guests next door shouting until they were asked to pipe down. A reasonable choice at breakfast but the quality was average. We loved the spa with a huge jacuzzi, steam room, sauna and recliner beds but there seemed to be some inconsistency whether guests could walk in or needed to book. Service at the front desk was always extremely friendly and helpful. Decent value for money for what felt like a 4* experience rather than 5*.
