Hotel Maregolf in Caorle

We just finished our second stay at Hotel Maregolf and it was just as wonderful as the first! The location is fantastic—just a short walk to the sandy beach, making it easy to enjoy the sun and sea. The rooms are cosy and comfortable, and the staff are always friendly and welcoming. We really enjoyed the food as well—both breakfast and dinner offered a great variety and everything was delicious. We’ll definitely consider coming back again next summer. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful 10 days here! Extremely friendly staff, who in addition to Italian also speak English and German very well! The food was varied and very tasty, especially the daily changing lasagne and the cakes for dessert were amazing! 🤤 The room was well thought out, with a large balcony and always clean! Everything was also in accordance with the corona regulations! The staff always wears face masks and in the buffet the service staff serves you with gloves. Disinfection dispensers are also available everywhere. The staff immediately addresses guests who do not have mouth and nose protection! 👍 It is about a 3-minute walk to the beach if you walk comfortably. Everything is clean here too and you, as a hotel guest, are allocated a sun lounger for the whole day. The parking spaces in the underground car park could be a little wider, but even with our SUV we found a space here. Conclusion: will book again for next year! 😊

Great for families with kids that enjoy time at the sea or pool. The beach is super nice, it is very close. You have your umbrella w/ sun seat included from the hotel. The staff at the reception is super helpful. The room is large, comfortable and clean.

Nice little hotel next to seaside. Rooms were clean and orderly. Improvements would be at breakfast regarding more and various food.

The hotel's location and services are also perfect. I can't mention a negative thing during our week. Staff: they are always kind, smiling, extremely kind to the children, for which we are especially grateful. Rooms: the price-value ratio is excellent, the air conditioning is quiet and cools the room very quickly. Cleanliness and silence everywhere. Restaurant: we used the full board service, the food follows the Italian cuisine, sea and fish dishes are dominant, we loved it. Pool: clean environment, no crowds due to the size of the hotel, there was always free space by the pool. Parking: free in the hotel parking lot. Animator programs: in the hotel every day, the girl is very kind to the children. In the evenings, there is an open-air stage next to the hotel, the shows are definitely worth seeing. Beach: 100 meters from the hotel, with free sunbeds and umbrellas for hotel guests. Strongly recommended!!

Perfect hotel for a family vacation. Big pool, sandy beach with reserved places at 200m and animation for kids, but without overdoing it. The small amusement park nearby is a welcome plus. The hotel has Golf in the name and a course next to it, but I didn't spot any golfer. It's much more "mare" than "golf".

The rooms are functional and clean. Most importantly they were designed for convenience: they are quiet, the A/C is also quiet, the toilet can be used without waking up partners, etc... And there are rooms with connecting doors.

The food is buffet style, which is good for kids, and very reasonable quality. After a week it becomes a bit repetitive, especially if you take full board.

There's plenty of friendly staff everywhere, so you never get to wait for anything. Compared to similar places in Spain it's very pleasant that there are no hidden costs. Towels, beach loungers, sunshades, all is included.

The location is a bit remote. There are good bus connections to Caorle (don't miss!), which is also cyclable distance (there are bicycle lanes everywhere). Venice is a bit less convenient to get to: bus plus boat or 2h bus. It's the North of Italy, so doesn't get as hot as further south.

There's a big car park (5 euros a day) with one charging station (was always available) by the hotel.

The resort of Lido Altanea has a supermarket 100m from the hotel, a small mall 400m away and a tourist train for easy commuting. It's all owned by a single company, Lampo.

One suggestion for the owner: replace your valuables' safes with a key (20 euro deposit) with code locks. What's the point of a safe if I then have a key to bring to the beach or deposit at the reception?
