Great location for all the main sites with friendly and helpful management/staff. If modern art and eccentricity is your thing then this is for you. Our room and bathroom was tired.

We were here for the start of the Rick Steves Village Italy tour and it was not a very good first impression of the tour. The room faced a dumpster and an exhaust fan for the restaurant next door so there was a constant smell of garbage and cooked food that permeated our room and clothes. The bed was uncomfortably hard, the lamp shades had holes burnt in them from the bulbs being too close to the shades and worst of all, the family that runs the hotel was unfriendly and rude. Breakfast was nothing special and it took forever just to get a cup of coffee.

Oh, so yes. Everything about this hotel made our stay in Padua just that bit better. Great location, easy to find from the station, major sites within easy walking distance and the most helpful, charming front desk staff. The rooms are comfortable and well appointed and creatively decorated. You just know you're staying somewhere unique.

The hotel location was easy to reach off the tram. Staff was friendly and professional. Hotel was clean and we felt safe coming and going. Breakfast was very good, lots of choices, fresh products, and good pastries. Bed was comfortable. Shower was small, but water pressure was good and hot water was plentiful. As is typical in Europe, you cannot adjust temp in the room - local authorities control when hotels can turn on AC or Heat - so if you go in the cusp season, you might not be able to change anything. But, for us, we opened the windows at night and the temp was comfortable for sleeping. US visitors should be prepared for the difference between US hotel and Italy hotels...recoginze the niceties you get and appreciate the value of the hotel rather than expecting a cookie cutter room like a US chain. The owner of this hotel is an artist and her decor reflects that. We found it very interesting!

The rooms are small and do not have any drawers for putting clothes and other items in, a fridge or a safe although the bed and bedding are good and the small bathroom has everything except tissues. The rooms are clean. Warning: obese guests would not be able to get into the tiny shower in our room, number 72, supposedly the best room because it has a terrace. However, during our stay it was far too hot to sit out there. It has no shade. We were there in a heatwave with temperatures up to 35°C/95°F and the air conditioning was totally unable to cope with these temperatures. We put the thermostat on the lowest setting, 5°C, but the room temperature never fell below 26° and was mostly higher. The cleaning staff must have orders to switch off the AC, as we always came back to find the AC off, the windows open and the room sweltering. The breakfast is nothing special, although in Italy breakfast is no a serious meal and it's rare to find a really good one. Here the most popular items quickly disappear and are not always replaced, so it pays to come very early. The staff seem bored and don't always make an effort to make one feel welcome. We would not stay here again. One big plus, however, is the good location. Another is the offstreet car-parking for €10 per day. As for the works of art of which the hotel boasts, they are mostly bizarre, sometimes disturbing and would not be to most people's taste.

This family-run hotel definitely has an eclectic decor. The staff is very friendly, and the rooms are nicely appointed, with there being 24 hour access. The room was very comfortable, but there were definitely stairs to climb, even with an elevator available. The breakfast had a very good selection, with there being some outdoor tables for use in nice weather. The location is very close to the Bascilica of St. Anthony, a tram stop, and within walking distance of restaurants, shops, and other sights in Padua. Please note tahgt the restaurant next door is no longer owned by the family. A wonderful, restful place to stay while exploring the university town of Padua.

A family run hotel where nothing was too much trouble. The welcome was good, our room and linen spotless and the breakfast excellent, and if things ran out they were quickly re-stocked. The art is interesting and it’s almost like staying in someone’s house . Thank you Stefano and Francesco.

It is called an 'Art Hotel' and it is eclectic indeed. Probably a arts class did the refurbishing of this hotel as a master project. The staff is very helpful, the parking is a boon in the middle of the city and since it is narrow, the staff does the difficult parking for you. Ee had to suppress the leaking airco (necessary at 37 degrees under the tiled roof) with a towel over a bin. Good location next to the incredible San Antonio and within 10 minutes walking from the Piazza del'Erbe. 5 minutes from teh Orto Botanico.

Strategic location, good cleanliness of the rooms, excellent and varied breakfast for a fee. The furnishings made by recycling old materials are questionable, but that's my personal taste. For greater cleanliness, I would eliminate ornamental cushions and various bed decorations, which are receptacles for dust and hair. Recommended for short stays.

This family run art hotel is welcoming and in the heart of everything we wanted to see! It is 1 block to the Basilica of St. Anthony and in the other direction for the tram that can take you close to other sites to see in Padua! We enjoyed the flavor the art gave and the room was super clean and beautiful! The beds were great! We were a family of 3 with my husband and I and our son with intellectual disability. The family was so warm and welcoming to us all!
