Front desk staff are nice. Reception only opens till 12midnight, we almost couldn’t check-in as we’d arrived late. Some strange smell from the toilet, but overall the room is clean.
It is just opposite to Danguo Market, and the dining area is opposite to Danguo Station.
The hardware equipment is a bit old, and the breakfast is quite ordinary, but the dining area is very Japanese drama-like.
It wins in terms of cost performance.
It is within walking distance from Kokura Station, and is right in front of the monorail's Tangaichiba Station, so it is easily accessible. It was perfect for a solo traveler or someone just staying overnight.
It was a great place to stay. Small bathroom, but average space room. It was a comfy bed with window behind. It was neither cold not hot at night. Amenities were nice. Just pick everything up on the second floor.
The room is very small and there are not enough sockets, but it's only over 400 during holidays, what else can I say.
The rooms are a little old, but they are well-cleaned and have good security. One of the hotel's special features is that you can get free rice balls in the dining room until 9am. The woman at the front desk is very friendly and polite. It's a very warm place.

Used by a single person on a weekday for business. Located within walking distance of Shimonoseki Station. There are restaurants in the surrounding area, and a commercial complex in front of the station, making it convenient for dining and other needs. There is a parking lot next to the hotel, but it has limited space and requires advance reservations. The room layout is old, but it appears to have...
The location is excellent.
To be honest, the facilities are a bit old. However, the value for money is excellent. I think it's a hotel worth staying at.
Are the walls thin? Sometimes I can hear voices and snoring next door.
I stayed here on a solo trip during the three-day weekend in July. I arrived quite late because I caught the last train, but the front desk staff were kind and I felt at ease. The Showa-era atmosphere that can be felt from the exterior is also felt inside. The room also had a retro feel. It's enough if you're just staying for a night.
It was on the top floor, the fifth floor, and the view from the window was of Shimonoseki city and the sea. It was a single room, but it was quite spacious (probably it used to be a twin room) and the interior had a somewhat Showa-era feel to it. However, the bathroom had been renovated and was a beautiful unit bath. There was a humidifier, so I used it. It was a shame that there was no outlet for...
It's good to be close to the station. However, since the facility is old, it would be better if it was clean.
The person at the counter took care of the laundry, so they were good at dealing with problems.
I was surprised to take advantage of the narrow location seen from the pedestrian bridge. It's an old hotel, but it's well maintained. I wish I could use the old-fashioned dining room on the 2nd floor. The front desk staff was enthusiastic about serving customers, although they no longer had the power to serve meals.

I stayed at this hotel twice, at the end of the year and the beginning of the year, when I returned home to Kyushu from Kanagawa.
I stayed there on my motorcycle, and the hotel has a covered parking lot, so I would especially recommend it for motorcyclists.
There's a 7-Eleven just a short walk away, and there's a large selection of manga (magazines and comics) at the hotel reception, so you'll never...
Stairs to the entrance.. shampoo buffet
It is quite far from JR Moji Port, a 15-minute walk. There is a 711 and a fast food restaurant that closes at 10 o'clock in the evening.
Breakfast only costs 10 yuan extra, which is very good, but I have to go to the gateway market the next day, so I don't have it.
The room is bigger than expected, the bathroom has a small bathtub, and the single bed can barely sleep two people. You can choose your...
You have to walk a little from the station, but it's quite close if you're driving.
Located in Kitakyushu City, this hotel was very flexible and comfortable. There were a lot of free things and announcements on how to get points. Usually, you have to pay for TV, but it was free! Information on how to get Jalan points, etc. Unfortunately, when I checked out, I found information on the availability of drinks, but I gave up on getting a drink. There were also many tourist spots nearby...
Great bed and surprised big washroom(compared to other Japanese hotel at this price).
No view from guest room and lobby and a little far from station. But the Mejiko retro observation room beside the port only cost 300 so as a place for a rest it’s totally well worth.

Hit or miss experience I guess, as it's a shared sleeping space, unfortunately for me it was a miss due to the other disruptive tenants in my room. An okay place if you just need a place to rest for the night. Toilets were clean. You can leave your luggage with them but it's essentially tagged and left by the corridor beside the receptionist area.
On the second day, we checked into Hostel & Dining TangaTable 🧳. The room type was a standard bunk bed 🛌
The place was exceptionally clean, and the room was a generous size. Each bed was equipped with curtains, offering excellent privacy. The facilities were user-friendly, impeccably maintained, and had everything one could possibly need. Despite being a mixed-gender dormitory, my stay was surprisingly peaceful.
Location was good a bit of a walk from the JR station … close to the market and castle , most places you want to visit is walkable.

Honestly, I wouldn't really recommend it. It's not that the service was bad, but the facilities were genuinely awful. I almost thought I was in Vietnam, not Japan.

The overall room was nice and clean!
The bath area was especially comfortable. The welcome drink service was great, and it was also nice that we could go out like in a regular hotel.
I'd like to stay here again.
I had a good experience with this hotel. Parking was a nice addition to other amenities. Breakfast was served to the room sharp at the arranged time. View from a room to a port/bay was nice.
It's very clean, and the waiting room is a space that doesn't feel like a love hotel.
The rooms are clean and the hallways smell wonderful.
The breakfast was also delicious.
It's a place I'd like to come back to again.
We were visiting to watch the rugby at the Mikuni World Stadium and wanted somewhere to stay near by. This place was an absolute gem, incredible room, huge jet bath with TV, breakfast served in bed and the best part was the view from the balcony included the Mikuni World Stadium. Staff were amazing, they didn’t speak English but were very quick to assist and help. They received post for me before my...
The room was very clean and luxurious. You could see the fishing port from the balcony, and the sea breeze was nice. There weren't many places to eat nearby, but you could book a meal at the hotel or walk to the station. The air conditioning was very cold, and the quilt was a little thick, but the bed was very comfortable. The location was neither too far nor too close; it was a ten-minute walk to...
I can't believe there is such a perfect hotel in Japan! You can enjoy breakfast overlooking the sea every morning! just! It’s so detailed that even hairpins are included! The only complaint is that self-driving is more convenient! 😁😁
