JR Kyushu Station Hotel Kokura, Kitakyushu1 / 30High rating
9.3
Kitakyushu, Asano 1-1-1, Kokurakita-ku 🧭 Map
Located right above the station, extremely convenient. Walking distance to Kokura castle, very clean room as well. Would stay here again
Excellent travel experience! The staff were all very friendly, and the location is fantastic. I'll definitely choose this place again next time.
This was my first trip to Kyushu, and I started in Kokura. I was tired from traveling, so I picked the hotel closest to the station. It was clean and tidy, right above the station. The view from the window was great, and there's a mall downstairs. Across the street, there's a shopping arcade mostly filled with izakayas. I probably booked a bit late, as the price was significantly higher than when I...
This is my third stay, and I'm very satisfied! The location is absolutely fantastic, right above Kokura Station, with direct access from the station concourse to the hotel – so convenient. **Facilities:** It's a standard JR single room setup, but significantly larger than the rooms at JR Shikoku. They also provide a good range of amenities. **Environment:** It feels very quiet, and it's pleasant...
Love the location of the hotel. The room is spacious and the amenities provided are with good quality and with care. We enjoyed our one night stay in this hotel.
When we checked in, there was a chunk of hair strands on the hotel towel. Was a little shocked, and informed the receptionist and there wasn’t any service recovery

1.2km walking distance from Kurosaki Station. Easy access to Aeon Mall . There is a bus stop 100m from thr hotel so it is pretty convenient
Simple and nice. good location with nice view from hotel. Aeon is opposite.
It was a normal hotel. 3.7 out of 5 stars 😃

9.1
Kitakyushu, 9-11, Minato-machi 🧭 Map
Is very nice hotel with good location. Breakfast was excellent. Value for money. Staffs are all very friendly and helpful. Will come back again if we do visit Mojiko.
Location Premier : steps from Mojiko Station and the ferry terminal. Rooms : harbor-view rooms are highly recommended.
The rooms were recently renovated, the bathrooms were spacious and we had the view of the pier. We got the deluxe room with lounge access which I would recommend. There were snacks available and the lounge was well designed and not crowded. There are multiple well designed spots around the hotel - although it is already >30+ years old, it has a timeless feel. The breakfast was ok. We had dinner at...
The view is stunning and the location is spot on. I really loved the retro room design—it totally matches the city’s vibe. The only downside is the breakfast room; it’s way too small, so be prepared to wait in line.
Great location, staffs were helpful. I would recommend to all.
The hotel is very well located, close to Mojiko Station and within easy reach of the main tourist spots. It’s not new or modern and has more of an 80s–90s vibe, but it’s clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The price is reasonable. The check-in and check-out process was… impressively punctual. I arrived less than 10 minutes before the official 3:00 pm check-in time and was attended to right away...

Kitakyushu, 3-46 Furusenbamachi Kita-ku, Kokura-shi 🧭 Map
Facilities: Well-equipped. Cleanliness: Quiet and tidy. Environment: Very quiet surroundings, a short walk to the JR station. If you're a fan of anime and manga, you can check out Aruaru City – there are tons of shops! Service: The front desk staff were very warm and attentive.
Firstly, I’d like to say the the rooms look beautiful and vintage but too old. There was mould in the bathroom. The room is lack of charging sockets. The room is extremely small and the bad is vey small too as well. The garden is beautiful.
The hotel is also conveniently located in Kokura, making it easy to explore nearby spots. The hotel has a classic Japanese-style atmosphere with a beautiful traditional garden, koi pond, and stone pathways that instantly give you a calm, peaceful feeling
Good location, nice garden, clean rooms, self-service amenities at the lobby, varied breakfast with many local specialities.
Pretty small room but great hotel
Location of the hotel is good, parking in the surrounding area is very convenient! Bathroom design is hilarious! Curtain of the bathing tub is good and several hanging hooks were broken! The most important thing is the tub is very slippery without any anti slipping coat! Too dangerous! A anti -slipping mate Should be included! For the breakfast, food choices are various but the quality needs to improve...

The hotel offers hot springs, which is a big plus.
everything is so good , no complaints
The room was clean and the bathroom was more spacious than other business hotels in Japan. The surrounding area is also quite good, and it's the newest hotel on the island. There's a local supermarket right next door, which makes shopping very convenient.
Great. Clean and good service.
The hotel's overall facilities were reasonable. There are minimal options for hot springs, and the water temperature is not sufficiently hot. The breakfast is okay.
Located in the Fukuoka Port area, it's about a 35-40 minute drive to the city center. Free parking is available, and there are plenty of dining options nearby. I was surprised to find a dedicated duty-free shop, which I assume is for tourists, as it's the first time I've seen one in Japan 😅😅. Definitely worth a stay.

Fukuoka, 2-14-1, Hakataeki Higashi, Hakata-ku 🧭 Map
The hotel is about a 10-minute walk from Higashi-Hie subway station on the airport line, and it's just one stop to Hakata Station. There's a 7-Eleven, FamilyMart, and a drugstore nearby, so it's really convenient. The hotel lobby has a lovely European library feel, and the rooms are very spacious. Plus, you get complimentary Italian illy capsule coffee.
The room quality is comparable to mid-range hotels like Orange Hotel or Atour in China. The lobby is beautiful. Otherwise, it's a decent hotel for a short stay, nothing extraordinary but perfectly fine. The bathroom isn't my preferred Japanese-style with a completely separate wet and dry area. It's not bad, just not exactly what I like. The location is pretty good; it's not a long walk to Hakata...
Beautiful hotel lobby and room. My family also enjoyed the lounge that comes with episode rooms.
A comfortable and amazing hotel. The lobby is super beautiful.
Perfect location, 7 mins walk from Hakata Station and there is a Family Mart nearby which is super convenient. We bought our breakfast and dessert from Family Mart.  Rooms are spacious and kids friendly (kid slippers and toothbrush were provided. They also provided a baby crib upon request). The brand of high chair in Why Not is stokke! We enjoyed the stay a lot.
I had a wonderful experience at this hotel. close to everything I needed. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained throughout my stay. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a hassle-free and pleasant stay!

Location was super good 5 minute walk to Hakata station. There is bath tub in the hotel that u can enjoy the salt bath after a long day walk and sightseeing. The hotel provides three kinds that you can chose . Nearby also have Starbucks , convenience stores and late shopping for essential items till 11pm . MRT convenient to Tenjin and others nearby places to visit like shrine .
Staff are friendly and helpful. Only downside is no parking at the hotel so have to walk and carry the luggage about 5mjns before reaching the hotel. Close to Hakata station
Good hotel yet quite small rooms.location is bear the big hakata station.
Near JR station and near airport subway station. Around the hotel a lot of restaurants. I front door got fresh cherry blossom for decoration just nice and elegant. Room clean and breakfast really good.
Great location and decent room size, but the facilities are a bit dated.
Good location and helpful staffs. Can walk through underpass to jr station which is very helpful especially on rainy days. Good service especially when we need emergency doctor assistance

Same dishes for the breakfast throughout my stay. Will be great if there are some changes everyday.
The staff are helpful and the hotel is easy to reach.
This hotel boasts an excellent location, right across from Hakata Station (Chikushi Exit). It's connected to Hankyu Department Store and AMU PLAZA, and there are tons of drugstores, yakiniku restaurants, and ramen shops nearby. What I loved most were the abundance of brunch coffee shops! I had a great stay at Miyako Hotel Hakata. The location is extremely convenient—just a short walk from the subway station, which made getting around Fukuoka very easy. Check-in and check-out were smooth and efficient. The room was well-equipped with everything I needed, and daily housekeeping kept it spotlessly clean. I’ll definitely consider staying here again the next time I visit Fukuoka.

The location is excellent, right at the entrance of the Hakata station beside the taxi stop. Which is great for calling an Uber to and from the airport international terminal. The service is excellent, and the room was clean. The room was really small so should probably try to book a king size room if I visit again. The hotel has a coin laundry with 3 machines which is useful. But lots of people...
All good except there were some chokage in the bathtub drainage.
Second stay at this hotel. Love the convenience and great location. Highly recommended.
The room is spacious enough and the bedding is comfortable. The bathroom amenities are excellent, with a Refa showerhead and hairdryer, which felt amazing. Even though the windows don't open, the room generally doesn't feel stuffy. Big drawback: no desk. Also, some of the building materials are really poor quality, like the particle board, countertops, and steel frames. Under the spotlights, they...
Breakfast was great! Freshly squeezed orange juice, mixed fruit smoothies, perfectly cooked rice, and delicate pudding. The downsides were that there were a lot of spills and wet areas around the buffet, and no one was cleaning them up. Also, the air conditioning was too cold.

The restaurant on the 2nd floor is the star of this hotel. Greatfood and service. For the hotel, the room was large enough and clean. However, the in room had one bottle of water. When I called for more like cola, I was told to use the vending machines. No room service, not even a hint of support from the staff. You should buy the breakfast because the lounge at the airport was the worst in all...
Very nice with very well-trained staffs. I decided to stay one more night during my first day here because of the professional staffs a d the good facility. The hotel is within few minutes away from Hakata Station with decent size room for Japanese standard. Breakfast was pretty good as they have both Japanese as well as Western options. The only issue is that the hotel staffs don't really speak English.
• Not far from Hakata station - 300M from East Gate 5 of the station • New and good facilities • Good breakfast - half western, half Japanese • The only weakness is dry air in the room. The room had a humidifier. But it was no useful to breathe.
Convenient location opposite Hakata train station. Larger rooms than normal for Japan. Clean and tidy.
The location is great. The room we stayed in was a little run down. We were going to stay the red e again at the end of the trip but decided to stay somewhere else because we weren't thrilled about our stay there.

Location is 10min away from Hakata station. Straightforward to walk to.
1. Checking-in was very inflexible. We arrived just over 3pm, hoping to be check-in although it says check-in after 4pm. Most hotels would have checked us in between 3-4pm. Requested baggage storage for later check-in (>6pm) & was told of charges ¥500 per piece of luggage instead of free storage as would most hotels.( we had 3pcs). @ least they could have let us check in early between 3-4pm as I would...
The Wi-Fi at this hotel is absolutely, incredibly, unbelievably bad. It's the worst I've ever experienced in any hotel, both domestically and internationally. I couldn't even send a WeChat message. The soundproofing is also poor; I could clearly hear the sound of the next-door room's door being unlocked. The service was okay, but everything else was just so-so. I won't be staying here again.
About 10 mins walking distance from Hakata Station and nice restaurants are just opposite to the hotel. Unlimited free beer and chocolate at the lobby and 14 cans of different drinks are free and kept in the fridge in your room. Public resting balcony with designated smoking room next to the lobby and you are free to get in there 24/7.
friends gathering trip is better …. So far so good , free welcome drinks bar adding kids drinks is more consideration.   Suggest to provide free storage of luggage !!
The hotel lobby provide bear , coffee and nuts 24 hour for free and the minibar at room has 15 alcohol drink are also free 😅 good for alcoholic. Check in at 1600 & check out 1200 Early check in cost 700 yen per person No free luggage storage and charge 500 yen per piece Overall rating : 9/10

I stayed here once in August. The location is great, and the environment is very high-end and luxurious. The soundproofing is also excellent. This time, I stayed here on the first day and even had a suitcase sent over. Then I went to Beppu for two days and came back to stay here again. Next time I come to Fukuoka, I will definitely stay here again.
Great location, about a ten-minute walk from Hakata Station. The hotel was comfortable, and the food was absolutely delicious! There are many small restaurants and a Lawson convenience store near the hotel. Looking forward to my next stay! ^_^

Great location, right next to Fukuoka Station! The room was pretty spacious for Japan, which is always a plus. As everyone knows, there are plenty of convenience stores nearby, so grabbing breakfast was a breeze. I'd definitely consider staying here again.
This hotel is conveniently located near Fukuoka Station, just a 5-minute walk away, and the area is very quiet. There's a Lawson convenience store downstairs, which is perfect for grabbing breakfast. A reputable hotel but too old amenities, run-down design and aircon isn't working well with consistent noises.
Although the hotel is a bit older, the service and hygiene standards still meet IHG's expectations. The location is excellent, less than a 10-minute walk from Hakata Station (exit 22), and it's all flat ground, so no issues with luggage. Hakata Station has Hankyu Department Store, and downstairs there are many restaurants, cafes, and bakeries.
The hotel is about a 10-minute walk from Hakata Station. The decor is over ten years old, but the service is excellent. The complimentary bottled water provided by the hotel is also good, and the breakfast selection is decent.
The room is tidy, clean and spacious enough to have 2 luggage opened wide. The location is pretty good. There are convenient stores nearby and most importantly, it’s very close to the jr station and the bus terminal. If you will go to places far away from hakata that requires travelling such as itoshima and yufuin, this hotel is definitely a good option.

To be honest, when I first checked in, I thought the room was really small. The hot spring is good! Highly recommended!
A 7-minute walk from the subway station, the hotel breakfast is really good, and you can enjoy the hot spring on the rooftop. I always choose Mitsui hotels whenever I go to Japan. The only downside is that the rooms are still a bit small.
Great location with plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby. Easy walk to Hakata Station, making travel convenient. The staff were friendly and polite, enhancing the overall experience.
The room was just okay. The bathroom had a pretty strong odor, and I had to specifically ask for toiletries at the front desk. The bathhouse was closed from 9 AM to 3 PM, and you need to bring your own towel. I wasn't told at check-in that the room key wouldn't work for the hotel's bathhouse.
