About two years ago, during a short business trip to Tokyo, I decided to spend a weekend visiting Numazu and instantly fell in love with the area. My stay at Numazu Club was a big part of that impression, and it remains one of the most memorable hotel experiences I’ve had. The property itself is registered as a Registered Tangible Cultural Property of Japan. The historic buildings, traditional Japanese...
Beautifully designed facility, calm, comfortable and relaxing. Enjoyed the setting, the sound of the sea, view of Fuji san from our room. Restaurant and wine list was pleasant surprise, the quality/value. Friendly, competent staff. Will visit again our travels. Wholeheartedly recommend.
Truly magical Staying at Numazu Club was magical. It truly felt like a hidden gem. The stuff was very welcoming and made every wish possible. My financé proposed to me on the last night in the private dining room in the old tea house. It will be a place that will forever stay in our hearts. Thank you Numazu Club team for making this stay so special.
Truly authentic venue in the impressive set ups. While visiting, I could not help considering how traditional Japanese lived so close to the nature and how pragmatic they were as a minimalist .... a hidden gem! Thank you for your great hospitality too from the current generation of Japanese!
My husband and I stayed at Numazu Club Oct 2 - 3. We really enjoyed our stay in all respects. The architecture of the hotel and the hotel garden grounds were absolutely beautiful. The garden was a traditional Japanese garden perfect for taking a stroll. We also really enjoyed dinner and breakfast at the hotel restaurant. The restaurant itself is located inside a historical Japanese tea house which...
Our first trip to Japan brought us to Numazu Club, and it quickly became the highlight of our journey. Nestled between Tokyo and Kyoto, we were seeking a peaceful retreat, and Numazu delivered far beyond our expectations. Perhaps it was the contrast to the bustling cities or the fact that Numazu felt wonderfully authentic, with hardly any tourists in sight, but this hotel experience was truly unforgettable...

We stayed overnight without meals. We went with my 80-year-old mother. My mother has trouble walking, so we were worried about her getting up from the futon. They kindly allowed us to borrow a chair from the dining room to hold on to, and if she could use a cane, they allowed us to use it. The bath feels a little cramped for three people, but that meant we could walk around easily, which was actually...
I stayed for several nights with breakfast included to enjoy Numazu Port. They readily agreed to switch to a room-only plan because I wanted to enjoy the port's morning meals. The landlady and staff were very friendly and easy to talk to, and I felt this inn is loved by the local community. The large public bath is hot and deep, so I think a baby bath would be great for small children. I'd like to...
Great service, great food, great place. Great bargin!!! Couldn’t ask for more for this price. I can feel the warmth from the owners. Top notch👍🏻
A traditional Japanese-style hotel with friendly and courteous staff. The room is clean and has a large TV with Netflix. It is very close to the famous Numazu Port.

Although it's not in the heart of Numazu, its location along the beach makes it a great place for a quiet stroll. Nearby is Koyotei Memorial Park, so guests should definitely stop by. The facilities may feel a bit dated, but they're well-equipped with amenities like a large public bath (including an open-air bath), foot bath, washing machine, massage chair, and bar. It's also well-maintained. The sea...
For dinner, I chose the "Seafood & Mountain Food Plan" and it was delicious. However, it was a bit disappointing that the room was not cleaned properly.
Old school onsen located directly across from the beach.
This hotel is a 10-minute walk from Numazu Imperial Villa Park. When we entered the room, my partner said, "This time we have an ocean view." So I replied, "We've always had ocean-facing rooms." Looking outside, the tops of the lush pine trees had been cut off. Until now, it was more of a "pine tree view" than an ocean view, but the view was open and it really was an ocean view of Suruga Bay. The sunset...
The hot spring was very good, but there was a lot of hair on the bathroom sink. I noticed it and cleaned it up with a lint roller, but I think it's important to clean it more frequently.
I decided to stay there for one night and I had a great time there. The dinner was delicious and abundant and after a long day on my motorbike, I could relax and enjoy the hotel's onsen.. I went there after dinner (they are open until 23.30) and I was totally alone. Rooms and public spaces are smoke free

The room is spacious and the bed is a good size for a single person, which is great. The only drawback is that there is a step between the bathtub and the toilet. It's conveniently located near the station, and although the facilities are old, I recommend it if you're just looking for a place to stay.
The cylindrical hotel has an open-air hall. The bathroom, which looks like it was converted from a love hotel, is impressive. Upon entering the room, you're greeted by a bed. The TV is the size of a computer monitor. There are five floors, and even the top floor doesn't offer a particularly good view. There are outlets near the bed, which is a nice touch. The room is a little dark because there isn...
I couldn't get a reservation at my usual hotel, so this was my first time staying here. While it's undeniably old, it doesn't feel particularly unclean. The fact that it's not always perfectly clean is understandable given its age. By chance, I booked a single room, but was assigned a double room. It was very spacious and comfortable. The bathroom, unusually for a business hotel, is the type that encourages...
A double smoking room (for two people) was about 7,000 yen, so it was good value for money. There were more electrical outlets than in a regular business hotel, which was convenient. However, there were some shortcomings in terms of facilities, such as the lack of a humidifier or air purifier. The amenities weren't great either, and the conditioner (rinse) provided was watery and of poor quality. The...

The owner was very friendly; since there was no elevator, they even helped me carry my luggage up and down the stairs.
A retro-style hotel with a communal bathroom; women can lock the door, and hot water will be ready in advance for reserved times. The tatami rooms have warm, cozy futons. Grilled fish is served for breakfast, but reservations are required. Overall, a great hotel.
Ideal for single occupancy. There are small bicycles and simple scooters available right outside. Good ramen shops are nearby. A place to relax and unwind near Mount Fuji.
The hot springs near the festival site were also very pleasant, so we were able to relax after the festival. The rooms were spacious and it felt like we were on a school trip.

I traveled alone. First of all, the food was delicious. The room was clean, and I was able to use the hot springs by myself as much as I wanted. The people at the inn were very friendly and attentive. When I went into the hot springs late at night, they made it a little hotter, which really warmed me up. It was actually a little lukewarm, but I was able to stay in for a long time and still feel warm...
"The inns I stayed at as a kid smelled like this." New buildings and hotels will continue to appear, but inns from this era are probably rare. A sign featuring Riko from Love Live! Sunshine greets you as you enter. The building is old, but there's nothing unsanitary about it. The food was delicious and the hot water was good, but the water temperature in the tub on the right side of the large communal...
It's a retro inn. The facilities are a little old, but it was clean. The small bath was quite spacious considering it was called a small one! I wish there were chairs in the changing room. Also, the hair dryer was weak, so if you have long hair, you might want to bring your own. The room was very spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was also delicious. The staff were very kind, and it was a wonderful...
Visited November 22, 2025 Established in 1969, this hotel seems to have been used by the Ishihara Group in its early days. The soundproofing was from that time, so please understand that noise from neighboring rooms and hallways will be audible when paying your room rate. The bath area follows in-house rules during times when no gender-specific bathing is permitted. Since everyone wants to use the...
We stayed here on a family trip with our two elementary school-aged children. We arrived late and left early in the morning, so we only stayed overnight, but the kids enjoyed the hot springs, which was great. There is only one hot spring, and it has separate baths for men and women, but it wasn't very crowded when we stayed, so we didn't have any problems. The facilities are quite old, and the location...
I stopped by on my way from Nagoya to Tokyo. Due to work, I checked in very late, but the staff kindly guided me around. I was able to use the hot springs privately, so I was very satisfied.

We visited with the spider crab plan, which is only available at this time of year. The building is historic, and the Japanese-style rooms have a Showa-era feel to them, but they are kept very clean. The landlady was very kind and warm, and was happy to accommodate our sudden changes. In addition to crab, the food was plentiful and well-prepared, with a gentle flavor that warmed our hearts. My wife...
I stayed at the hotel at the end of January with the spider crab plan. It was my first time eating spider crab, and it was large and sweet and delicious without any condiments. The landlady was very friendly and we had a great time chatting about various things. The meals, both dinner and breakfast, were huge and delicious, and I was very satisfied. Thank you to the landlady and all the staff.
Heda Onsen is really relaxing. The proprietress and staff are all really nice, and I'd definitely like to go again. The food was really delicious.
August 10, 2025: Despite the unfortunate weather, our family of four stayed here for one night. We booked the standard plan in early July. The next day, the landlady called to confirm, explaining the prices and availability of special-order dishes and the types of alcohol available. She was very kind and courteous. As for alcohol, she said it was fine to bring your own. 😆 We ordered Heda's specialty...
