Suisenkaku in Numazu

I traveled alone. First of all, the food was delicious. The room was clean, and I was able to use the hot springs by myself as much as I wanted. The people at the inn were very friendly and attentive. When I went into the hot springs late at night, they made it a little hotter, which really warmed me up. It was actually a little lukewarm, but I was able to stay in for a long time and still feel warm. I could go out onto the balcony from my room and enjoy the view of Mt. Fuji. I'm glad I was able to relax here.

New buildings and hotels will continue to appear, but inns from this era are probably rare.

The building is old, but there's nothing unsanitary about it.

The food was delicious and the hot water was good, but the water temperature in the tub on the right side of the large communal bath felt a little low.

It doesn't have the latest facilities, but I think that's what makes it so good.

It's a retro inn. The facilities are a little old, but it was clean.
The small bath was quite spacious considering it was called a small one! I wish there were chairs in the changing room. Also, the hair dryer was weak, so if you have long hair, you might want to bring your own.

Established in 1969, this hotel seems to have been used by the Ishihara Group in its early days. The soundproofing was from that time, so please understand that noise from neighboring rooms and hallways will be audible when paying your room rate.

The bath area follows in-house rules during times when no gender-specific bathing is permitted. Since everyone wants to use the large bath from 6:00 AM to 8:00 AM, I'd appreciate it if they'd be considerate enough to refrain from washing their hair or body and instead just soak in the hot spring, speeding up the turnover.

I'm a woman, and I happened to be staying with two elderly parents and their child, who just took their time washing their hair and body. After my soak, I came out to find four people (four men) using the small bath in their slippers. When I went out to the lobby, a man asked if the large bath was still open. The mother and daughter had left their slippers in the changing room, so it looked empty. However, there was a sign outside indicating women were using the bath. The men waiting must have been confused. There is no hair dryer in the room, so I imagine it took a long time for the elderly woman to dry her hair afterwards. It's a shame for the man who was looking forward to the hot springs in the morning.
The only thing you can do is ask the front desk to take a look inside. I hope everyone will be happy if you will be considerate and considerate to others when using the hotel through this review.

We stayed here on a family trip with our two elementary school-aged children.
We arrived late and left early in the morning, so we only stayed overnight, but the kids enjoyed the hot springs, which was great. There is only one hot spring, and it has separate baths for men and women, but it wasn't very crowded when we stayed, so we didn't have any problems.
The facilities are quite old, and the location is inconvenient without a car, but you can get a faint view of Mt. Fuji from the window, and considering the price, I think it's a very satisfactory inn.

I stopped by on my way from Nagoya to Tokyo. Due to work, I checked in very late, but the staff kindly guided me around. I was able to use the hot springs privately, so I was very satisfied.

Visited for a pilgrimage, and the owner was very kind.

The customer service, food, and bath were all good,

The food was the best in Numazu, fresh seafood.
Both night and morning were really delicious.
The bath is also the best with cloudy hot springs.
However, it is a pity that the hot water of those who do not have a hot spring was very warm.
Although the room is old, it is cleaned neatly,
If the weather is good, you can see Mt.Fuji.
Surprised that there were two ashtrays in the room in this day and age!
It didn't smell like cigarettes, but I don't think you need an ashtray.
