Suihouen in Numazu

Great service, great food, great place. Great bargin!!! Couldn’t ask for more for this price. I can feel the warmth from the owners. Top notch👍🏻

We stayed overnight without meals.
We went with my 80-year-old mother.
My mother has trouble walking, so we were worried about her getting up from the futon. They kindly allowed us to borrow a chair from the dining room to hold on to, and if she could use a cane, they allowed us to use it. The bath feels a little cramped for three people, but that meant we could walk around easily, which was actually a good thing.
Since it's close to Numazu Port, we went for seafood for dinner.
After a short walk, you can see the beautiful coastline.
If there were no clouds, you would have been able to see Mt. Fuji. The location is great.
The starry sky looked beautiful, too.

I stayed for several nights with breakfast included to enjoy Numazu Port. They readily agreed to switch to a room-only plan because I wanted to enjoy the port's morning meals. The landlady and staff were very friendly and easy to talk to, and I felt this inn is loved by the local community. The large public bath is hot and deep, so I think a baby bath would be great for small children. I'd like to visit again. The coast is windy, and it's far from Numazu Station, so you'll need to take a bus or taxi. There is no elevator.

A traditional Japanese-style hotel with friendly and courteous staff. The room is clean and has a large TV with Netflix. It is very close to the famous Numazu Port.
