Reviews
The building is historic, and the Japanese-style rooms have a Showa-era feel to them, but they are kept very clean.
The landlady was very kind and warm, and was happy to accommodate our sudden changes.
In addition to crab, the food was plentiful and well-prepared, with a gentle flavor that warmed our hearts.
My wife and I were served a generous serving of spider crab, and it was the most delicious I have ever eaten.
There was no open-air bath, but it was the perfect size for the number of people, the temperature was just right, it was well-maintained, and we warmed up nicely.
This inn is recommended for those who enjoy the Showa-era feel, and for those who want to stay overnight and eat spider crab.
The landlady was very friendly and we had a great time chatting about various things. The meals, both dinner and breakfast, were huge and delicious, and I was very satisfied. Thank you to the landlady and all the staff.
The proprietress and staff are all really nice, and I'd definitely like to go again.
The food was really delicious.
our family of four stayed here for one night.
We booked the standard plan in early July.
The next day, the landlady called to confirm,
explaining the prices and availability of special-order dishes and the types of alcohol available.
She was very kind and courteous.
As for alcohol, she said it was fine to bring your own. 😆
We ordered Heda's specialty, spider crab.
At this time of year, one crab costs ¥23,000.
The road to the inn is certainly narrow, but it's fine if you don't have a large car. There is a covered parking lot across from the inn.
The rooms were also very clean.
There is only an indoor bath, but it's open from check-in until 11 PM and from 6 AM to 9 AM.
We enjoyed a pleasant soak in the indoor cypress bath.
For dinner, we went to the dining area and saw boiled spider crab,
a first-time sight. It's huge🤣
Even though the legs were so big, the landlady easily butchered them. "It's surprisingly easy," she said.
And sure enough, when I snapped the joint and pulled, it was smooth. 😄
Apparently, crabs that are too big aren't tasty.
My impression after eating it was that it tasted completely different from any crab I've ever eaten.
It was rich, had crab miso, and even the standard plan included a boat-shaped portion!
The local horse mackerel was amazing. It went down well with sake. 😂
They said they also had rice with sakura shrimp and white rice, but I was already full. 😵
Breakfast was a Numazu staple: dried horse mackerel! It was small,
but freshly grilled, it was delicious. I had three bowls of rice for breakfast. As you'd expect from an Iso Kappo inn,
the food was amazing. Thank you for the meal.
I accept PayPay instead of credit cards.
