The cylindrical hotel has an open-air hall. The bathroom, which looks like it was converted from a love hotel, is impressive. Upon entering the room, you're greeted by a bed. The TV is the size of a computer monitor. There are five floors, and even the top floor doesn't offer a particularly good view.
There are outlets near the bed, which is a nice touch.
The room is a little dark because there isn't much electricity. While the bed is listed as a semi-double, it's actually about the size of a double. Perhaps it was originally a love hotel?
The hotel guidebook smelled like sauce and was sticky.
It's easily accessible, within a five-minute walk of the north exit of Numazu Station.
Parking is mysteriously expensive, so it's cheaper to park in one of the nearby coin parking lots.

The room is spacious and the bed is a good size for a single person, which is great. The only drawback is that there is a step between the bathtub and the toilet. It's conveniently located near the station, and although the facilities are old, I recommend it if you're just looking for a place to stay.

I couldn't get a reservation at my usual hotel, so this was my first time staying here.
While it's undeniably old, it doesn't feel particularly unclean.
The fact that it's not always perfectly clean is understandable given its age.
By chance, I booked a single room, but was assigned a double room.
It was very spacious and comfortable.
The bathroom, unusually for a business hotel, is the type that encourages you to fill the tub with hot water before bathing. (I wonder if that makes sense?)
This is another plus point.
However, I can't say for sure that the single rooms are the same.
It's close to Numazu Station, there's a convenience store not too far away, and there are bars nearby, so I ended up going out quite a bit.
The downside is that I booked online, but I didn't understand the meaning of the ECO plan, so I was confused when they explained that bed making and cleaning wouldn't be included during consecutive nights.
However, they do change the towels, so it's not like it's unclean.
I thought that was fine.

A double smoking room (for two people) was about 7,000 yen, so it was good value for money. There were more electrical outlets than in a regular business hotel, which was convenient. However, there were some shortcomings in terms of facilities, such as the lack of a humidifier or air purifier. The amenities weren't great either, and the conditioner (rinse) provided was watery and of poor quality. The hairdryer was also very old, so we had to use one we brought with us. It's good that the bathroom and toilet are separate, but the partition is only about a third of the way there, so when you take a shower, the toilet ends up getting wet as well. Overall, it's worth the price.
