Resort Hotel Mount Fuji, Yamanakako1 / 28
9.0
Chubu region, Yamanakako, 1360-83 Yamanaka Yamanakakomura 🧭 Map
This hotel boasts an excellent location. The open-air onsen offers stunning views of Mount Fuji, while the starry sky onsen allows you to gaze at the night sky
The front desk service was attentive, and the food was excellent too! Nice!!! This will definitely be my go-to hotel next time I visit Mount Fuji
The hotel's location is excellent, very close to Shirotori Beach, and they offer convenient shuttle service up and down the mountain
Just make sure you take the bus to Lake Yamanakako (Fuji Hotel Entrance) station and call for a pick-up from the 7-Eleven. Don't go to the wrong bus stop like we did, it delayed us for quite a while!
The hotel provides a shuttle bus service for transfers up and down the mountain, and there's a small convenience store on-site. The room features a twin bed along with a Japanese-style tatami mat
I usually avoid old hotels, but I booked this one, which opened in 1963, purely for the mountain view. It turned out to be much better than expected! And the view truly is breathtaking!!!

I have Had the best stay at Marriott, from check in to check out, from front staff to restaurant, they all very friendly and helpful! outstanding service! Hotel facilities are great too, love the outdoor hot spring with snowing view
We loved the room and it was very big and comfortable and the mattress was excellent. The hotel is very clean and friendly. Service is very good and especially to the front desk executive  Mr Yuta
I stayed one night at Fuji Marriott Hotel Lake Yamanaka and really enjoyed the beautiful view of Mount Fuji from my room. The breakfast was very nice with a good variety of food
This property offers outstanding value for money, with a prime location that makes exploring easy. The cleanliness is impeccable, and the staff are incredibly attentive and friendly, enhancing the overall experience
Facilities are well-maintained, featuring beautiful gardens and efficient housekeeping, although the amenities could use some improvement. Wi-Fi is reliable, making it easy to stay connected during your visit
Since I was only staying for one night, I didn’t request a room change. Another area for improvement is that the staff could be more proactive in assisting guests with their baggage upon arrival

Nice location .See Fujisan from bedroom . Onsen also good , hot , full facilities but too much steam in Onsen room. Friendly staff at the reception but one of a staff in breakfast zone not quite nice.
By the way, the service was excellent! 👍
Parking is free just opposite the hotel. 1 minute walking distance to Family mart. The view is great as we can see the Lake Yamanaka just right in front of the hotel and Mt Fuji is really pretty from this location
Mount Fuji view is at side window. Lake Yamanakako is in-front of window. Open air Onsen is wading point. Few step walk to Family market
Nice and comfy town of lake yamanaka, the hotel is near two bus stops that's going to Mishima and gotemba station.
Walking distance to Bus stop with routing to Kawaguchiko Bus Terminal Express Bus to Mishima

Great stay! The room was spotless and very tidy, and the hot springs were incredibly relaxing – super satisfied. The staff were all really warm and proactive, and their English was good, which made communication easy
The buffet dinner wasn't anything special, though the fruit was quite good. It's a bit of a distance to Fuji-Q Highland and Lake Kawaguchiko if you're coming from abroad, taking about an hour by bus
Hotel is good and affordable. Can view the fuji inside the hotel. Will definitely come again
This hotel is overall quite good. In the morning, I could see Mount Fuji from my room, which made the stay truly worth it. The hotel also has an onsen that is free for hotel guests
There were a lot of tour groups staying here. Most of the front desk staff are from Southeast Asia and speak good English
The surroundings are beautiful, with Lake Yamanaka and Mount Fuji being stunning.

The facility is undeniably old, but the cleaning is fairly good. The meals are carefully seasoned. I really enjoyed the variety and quantity.
The room was clean and the duvet was very warm, and the electric heater worked well. The shared bathroom had a small hot tub, which was fantastic! I had it all to myself when I used it, which was a real treat
The breakfast was simple yet delicious, and again, I had the dining room all to myself!
Very good! It's super close to the sunrise viewing spot and the bus stop. There's also a large 7-Eleven nearby, and breakfast is included. It was my first time staying in a tatami room, and I found it quite comfortable
An old hotel with an old, kind owner. You can see Mount Fuji from your window in the morning, offering excellent views. It's a cozy hotel well worth recommending, and I plan to stay here again next time! 👍
The owners are incredibly welcoming, and communication in English is perfectly fine. The location is excellent – it's a 3-minute walk to Hirano Station and about 6-7 minutes to Hirano Beach

Love this Hotel, awesome Mt. Fuji view from room, staff very nice helpful and friendly, Breakfast good and delicious. Highly recommended.
From the welcome maple muffin and brown rice hot tea, to the lovely anniversary note in the room, the staffed welcomed us in as if they welcomed us home. The room has an incredible view of mt Fuji
Lovely place, serenity amidst solitude. Loved both the indoor and the outdoor onsens. The lake view was refreshing, the mountain was on the opposite side though. Has a Denny’s right next to it for a quick meal
To start the service is what made me write this review. Yamaguchi and yui were incredibly helpful in multiple regards there is service then there is service
From the instructional iPad, to light optional changes, sauna, and onsen
The views are incredible my only advice if you book a suite is to book the lowest level floor so you can see mt fuji from your bath! Unfortunately the law requires they have a wall of a certain height for outdoor baths if its visible from the residential area

Very cost-effective, suitable for business travel
The accommodation is good, but if you don't have a private car, it will be a bit difficult to travel. The hotel and staff are friendly. If you want to eat food, you have to make a reservation
Overall it was a very good experience. Check-in was supposed to end at 22:00, but because I called in advance to inform them of my late arrival, the front desk waited until 23:00. Please ignore my messy luggage
The room was large, dinner was included and was traditional Japanese, the food was very good, the tempura was freshly fried and very tasty. The price of accommodation is really affordable, recommended! 👍👍
The room is large, which should be an advantage, but it has become a disadvantage here because the heating of an air conditioner is not enough to cover such a large room, and the insulation is not good
The staff are friendly and quick to respond to any requests you may have during your stay. Overall, Qingxi Yamanakako Hotel is a hotel that values coexistence with nature and provides warm accommodation for tourists

Great breakfast and even dinner snack in very high quality. Real Ryokan feeling with bath tub including a wonderful view on Mt. Fuji from the tub and the room
We stayed here as a family of four in February. The kids were excited about the bunk beds. The room, toilet, and bathroom were all clean, and the window had a great view of Mt
She provided helpful information about the surroundings, and both the dinner and breakfast were excellent. The breathtaking view of Mount Fuji over Lake Yamanaka added to the overall experience
The food was very good. I was wondering if I could sleep because the futon was damp, but when I went to the public bath and lay down, it was the best sleep of the year.
It was good that the service was very good for the price, but the service is too good, so it may be okay to raise the price a little more. I was surprised when fruit, coffee, and thick sushi rolls came out as snacks
Rooms are big and very comfortable

This is an old building, not very old though. However, the bathroom and the Aircon are updated. I stayed on the 3rd floor with an amazing view of Lake Yamanaka. The terrace is spacious too with a comfortable chair
I had a wonderful stay at Tabist Lakeside Inn Fujinami. The location is absolutely perfect—there’s a balcony where you can enjoy a beautiful view of Mt. Fuji, which made the experience even more special
The old gentleman who welcomes guests is incredibly kind and warm. He personally showed me around the building and introduced all the facilities, which made me feel very comfortable and well taken care of
The B&B's location is excellent, and the price is moderate for this area. The view from the room was absolutely amazing; everyone should definitely try to book a room on the 2nd or 3rd floor
The old gentleman's English is excellent. If the weather is good, you can see Mount Fuji right from your room 🗻. The location is absolutely superb! The check-in time was a bit late, but that's understandable
The B&B is very close to the plains, and the plains are very beautiful! You can see Pink Fuji at night when the weather is good. It's a bit troublesome to check in at 5 o'clock

I stayed here because I wanted to see Mt. Fuji from Hirano Beach in the early morning. The living room was upstairs, and the bathroom and bedroom were in the basement, so it felt like home in a good way
It was a place rich in nature, and I was satisfied that the facilities could be used like a villa. The barbecue in front of the facility is the best.
You can't easily meet such a good location
I stayed on October 1st, but the next morning, when I opened the window curtain, I could see Mt. Thinking about this, I went to the lakeside, which is a park, just across the road at about 6 am, and took a picture of Mt
Some of the facilities in the room are not new, but they work well without affecting the use. There is a bathtub for taking a bath. Lake Yamanaka is right outside the door
The scenery outside the window is also very beautiful. Compared with the crowds of people at Lake Kawaguchi, this place is more like a hidden paradise

The owner is so nice! Room and living room are beautiful and clean. Also the view from the window is surprising. Thanks to the owner took us to the restaurant at night, we had a really really amazing experience! ❤️❤️
This was my first stay, and the view of Mt. Fuji from my room was fantastic! Dinner was served at my own pace, which I really appreciated. The food was truly delicious and made me feel happy
Dinner was especially amazing, and I was surprised that I could get a full course meal for just that much extra on top of a room-only stay! The fish dishes were especially delicious
It's so clean! I was surprised at how clean the room, hallway, toilet, bathroom, and dining room (living room?) were all. I had a very comfortable stay
The staff at the guesthouse were very attentive and considerate. It's a guesthouse I'd definitely want to stay at again
The food was delicious!!! I had both dinner and breakfast, and they were both absolutely delicious

Excellent location — situated right at the entrance of Lake Yamanaka. It’s only a 4-minute walk from the bus stop for local or express buses from Shinjuku Station
So relaxing! Overall, a beautiful experience, breathtaking view of Fuji near the hotel, convenience store also nearby, trendy cafe less than 15min away by walk and vegan/vegetarian restaurant 5min also! Was also very cheap and the express bus from Tokyo Shinjuku stop right next to there! So grateful, thank you again !
We were blessed to see Fuji-san from our room ! And after checking out my boyfriend lost his bag so all the adorable women who run this place were so careful and even call the cafe we went earlier and they helped us find our bag, so kind to them and happy to have been to this place
(I think they clean after each patron uses the shared shower, so it really just feels like a private one and doesn't feel shared at all) The parking is really convenient and the location is perfect just opposite the lake
The lake is right across the street from the inn, and you can capture a great view of Mt. Fuji from the nearby 7-Eleven. Walking around the lake takes about 3. 5 to 4 hours, including time for breaks, photos, and meals
There’s also a 7-Eleven next door to meet your basic needs. The bathroom facilities are shared, but I was lucky to have them all to myself for two days. For those who enjoy bathing, there’s a bath tub available

Omg. One of our best stays in Japan. Off the beaten place but oh my. Love their place! Love the owners!
The room was also very well-cleaned, and our newborn son was able to crawl around without any problems. The homemade yogurt and jam for breakfast were delicious and we had a wonderful, relaxing time
My husband and I stayed here for two days and one night (breakfast only) with our three-year-old and newborn son. The bath, toilet, and sink were very clean and we felt safe using them
I'd like to have dinner there as well once my kids are a little older. We were also able to observe fireflies at a spot the owner recommended, which was very satisfying
Absolutely wonderful stay! Both the common areas and room were beautifully decorated and welcoming. We had a wonderful time and would definitely come back.
Beautiful little lodge, nice homely feel and fantastic service. I recommend the breakfast. Thank you so much for your warm welcome - will stay again

Lovely hotel, very friendly helpful staff, great food, excellent onsen
We drove from Tokyo to the hotel and got these amazing views. Good services and they tried to help you with English translator app. The prices inclusive of dinner and breakfast, ensure you be on time!
Nice resort, clean and big room. Good onsen and delicious meal. Reasonable price. Free parking.
This is a diamond in the rough. It’s a bit out of the way; but if you plan ahead, it’s fantastic. I wanted an “authentic experience”, and this is as legit as you can get
This is the contryside; don’t expect “modern amenities”. Get a cab or plan your bus rides. They do have WiFi, but the old school charm, is irresistible
Correctly "Shuzanso" in Japanese. Cozy atmosphere with delicious dinner and hot spring.

Stayed for two nights and the food was very good, but it was a bit inconvenient to have a BBQ outside in the cold weather. The cabin was warm and very close to the station. The staff was very nice
Facility is looking good. But food is expensive considering how little you get. This is the saddest curry i Have ever had with 3 lonely chicken pieces of meat.
They have very beautiful and cozy cottages, right infront of the lake. The bus station is a 3 minutes walk. Overall a great value for money, though my room heater wasn’t working even after a repair
Amazing cottages with spacious and comfortable sleeping areas, including hammocks, couches, and an outdoor sitting area. Each cottage is equipped with a car parking area, a fireplace, and a grill
Additionally, the location is convenient, with nearby stores such as the 7-11 in front of the campus. However, one downside to our rooms is the big hole in the middle of the bedroom
Overall, this hotel is a great place to stay for a vacation in Hakone
