Highland Resort & Spa Hotel is at excellent location, the express bus station from Tokyo is right by the door step. Although there is a theme park next door it didn’t seem to be open or busy. I love it. Very impressive on the falicity in the room and the hotel has direct pass to Fujiyama onsen for free! They has a free bus to go around the city. I bit hard to walk to Kawaguchiko station by yourself.

The staff who greeted us escorted us to our room and even observed our body types to provide the right size yukata. Every service member was smiling, and when we left, they saw us off at the door, waving until our car was out of sight, which was very touching. The Japanese aesthetic was evident everywhere.

The first night's dinner was very lavish, but the second night's was a bit underwhelming. The courtyard view is beautiful; you could easily spend half a day exploring it. Although it's an older hotel, the cleanliness and environment are excellent. The service is also on point. The hotel is clean and has a free hot spring onsen. The hotel is quite far from the station, but it’s worth it because Mount Fuji is right behind it—huge and absolutely beautiful 😭. It’s also close to a large Daiso. Very satisfying / I’m very satisfied.♥️♥️♥️

As long as you’re driving the area is not far away from the lakes. There are options like sushiro, macd, starbucks etc around the area! Got a room facing directly to mount fuji too!

Resort in Fuyo is located very conveniently and if you get the Mount Fuji view like my room, you’ll wake up with the amazing view! Down side is the lobby and walk way in general smells like cigarettes…

The room offered a fantastic view of Mount Fuji, which was amazing! The interior is a bit dated, but considering the affordable price, it's totally acceptable. You definitely need a car to get here, and it's great that the hotel provides two parking lots.

If there's a major renovation, it should be a decent place to stay.

The breakfast was delicious, and the bed and pillows were very comfortable, but the hot water in the bathroom was difficult to adjust to a comfortable temperature. It's a bit far from Lake Kawaguchi, so it's recommended for travelers with a car.

The room is very old and the wood is soundproof. Even when people in the next room are arguing, you can clearly hear every word.

The hotel has no dining facilities, plus the location is a bit remote, so it is inconvenient for travelers. There is no shoe cabinet equipment in the 2/F bath, so the slippers of the guests are a bit confusing, and it is easy to wear other people's slippers wrongly, which may cause hygiene problems.

The triple room was really spacious and comfortable, though it was quite cold when we first entered. We immediately cranked up the air conditioning to 27 degrees Celsius on the highest fan setting and left it on all night. The location is decent, and having a free shuttle bus to Fuji-Q Highland and Kawaguchiko Station was very convenient!

Exceptional location, you step out of the train and roll off the ramp to the hotel. On the other side of the station you can already see Mt. Fuji staring down on you. The hotel has nice rooms, more spacious than what you get in the city. The breakfast was not exceptional, but it was sufficient. Staff very polite and helpful, as is the case in all of Japan😅

Beautiful Ryokan with private onsen overlooking Fuji-San. Love the impeccable service and the amenities we can use. A walk in the garden is certainly recommended and look for the Fuji-San Vantage Point

Everyone we encountered was incredibly kind and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The hotel was great - quick and efficient service, the bathtub on a balcony is a decent way to relax. There’s also a shuttle bus service from Highland Station that is free of charge and it drops you off nearby the hotel.

Refuse to tidy up every day. Breaskfast is not recommanded. Finally, i go out to eat. Bathing facility is not hygiene snd towels are not enough. Noisy and sound from other rooms is annoying.

The location is close to the amusement park and bus station. Another big plus is that near the Ryokan there is a bridge from where you can have a great view on Mt. Fuji. The room itself was clean and spacious, and you can book the time for visiting onsen.

This hotel is super convenient for visiting Fuji-Q Highland and the bus station, both are right next door. It's a bit further from Mt. Fuji and the train station, but they offer free regular bikes for a casual ride around, which is nice. The free breakfast in the morning was surprisingly good too. Overall, a great stay.

Hotel has a very good location, very close to Fuji-Q bus station. It rather easy to find it. An ability to rent a bicycle, gives you a chance to get around Fujiyoshida and Fugikawaguchiko easily. We stayed in acottage style annex with an open air bath (onsen style), so we found it great. Plenty of space, two storey apartments and the bath outside make our experience much more better than we expected

It's great to find a hotel with a private open-air onsen at this price. Mount Fuji is visible right outside. The hygiene and service are both excellent.

Great place, the experience was somewhat in between camping and glamping. There are lots of choices for accommodation, everywhere from just a space to set up your own tent to ger/pao to even a small house/cottage. Whichever you’re staying at, there are a few toilets and dishwashing areas which are easily accessible. And hot water is available at these places! There’s also a public bath that’s available...

A fun glamping experience. I really think the cabins could benefit from management staying in them overnight from time to time - things like no hooks to hang things, dark and smoky vestibules outside the cabins, pots that don't work on induction heat etc. could be resolved. But overall a well-managed place in a nice location.

It was inconvenient not being able to go out because the main gate closes at 10 p.m., and my friend almost froze to death because the desk instructions, such as bringing a towel when using the heater or public bath inside the glamping facility, were insufficient, and I almost froze to death because I used the bath without a towel.

The guesthouse with a Japanese-style room is very conveniently located (close to the local bus and train stations). It was already chilly outside during our stay, so the room was also cold. However, two rooms have air conditioners that can be turned on for heating. In good weather, Mount Fuji is visible right from the window. Unfortunately, ours had no visibility at all.

The staff was wonderful. Very accommodating to our late arrival. The room was very clean and tidy. This was the most convenient location, very close to fujisan parking if you’re in town for hiking or sightseeing. Definitely recommend staying here!

Lovely traditional Japanese house, timber framed, deep wooden sitting bath.

Although it was cleaned, the bathroom wall was rotting, the faucet splashed water sideways, the batteries in the remote control were rotten, and many things were difficult to use. The futon was too hard, and although the room was spacious, it was obvious that it was old. The fee for dogs was also suddenly announced, and although it was 2,500 yen per dog and payment was only in cash, no consideration...

The building is old, but not dirty. The toilets were very clean and equipped with the latest technology. The staff were very polite and I had a relaxing time. There is almost no Softbank signal and no Wi-Fi, so it's something to be aware of, but it might be a good place for people who want to do a digital detox.

The spacious and comfortable Japanese-style villa is very suitable for a leisurely and quiet vacation and taking photos (laughs). The mountain view room we booked is on the first floor. The view is average. I don't think it's necessary. I'm outside most of the day and I can't see it when I go back at night. The location is suitable for tourists like us who don't check in but only play Fuji-Q Highland and enjoy the view of Mount Fuji. If you go to Lake Yamanaka, the transportation may not be so convenient.

Mountain view room with great view and great value for money. The hotel is within walking distance of Don Quixote and not far from Highland. It takes about 12-15 minutes to walk to the hotel after getting off the express bus
