The place was kept relatively clean, though some minor hygiene issues are perhaps to be expected in a guesthouse setting. There was no hot water upstairs for washing, so we needed to use the communal shower downstairs. This wasn't an issue though, as it was rarely crowded, allowing us to use it privately during off-peak times. Both meals provided were incredibly generous and delicious. Highly recommended

We were lucky to stay at this wonderful place! It’s very clean and cozy. Not only the place amazed us but the hospitality of the host. The host Yumie is super friendly and helpful; she gave us very useful recommendations. She also surprised us with a brunch basket for the Super Bowl game. Thank you!

If you want something comfortable, adorable, and affordable stay here. It was amazing.

Such a wonderful travel experience to live here! Everything inside this small house. The host is so kind and very glad to help traveler ...and you can ride the free bike just near by the Mount Fuji, it’s really lovely scenery.

I really enjoyed my stay here, it was an interesting experience and I learned few things about living in small spaces with a group of people. The host was extremely helpful and kind, she helped us a lot with itineraries and other travel arrangements.

This is a great place to stay with free bike's. The host Yummi speaks perfect English and goes out of her way to help. Would go back tomorrow.

Beautiful spacious rooms with the most gracious hosts and incredible views of Mount Fuji! Loved every moment staying there. On arriving the hosts provided delicious fruits and sushi as refreshments. Rooms are big and very comfortable.

Just amazing My friends and I stayed here for one night during what was supposed to be the peak time for Sakura in Lake Yamanakako. This place did not disappoint despite the Sakura being shy. The view from our room And the rooftop was incredible, the owners and workers were also incredibly kind and attentive. Overall we felt so grateful for our experience.

Great location and nice views, but everything else is just so-so.

The B&B's location is excellent, and the price is moderate for this area. The view from the room was absolutely amazing; everyone should definitely try to book a room on the 2nd or 3rd floor. The owner even went out of their way to find us a good one.

The old gentleman's English is excellent. If the weather is good, you can see Mount Fuji right from your room 🗻. The location is absolutely superb! The check-in time was a bit late, but that's understandable. It was great! I hope to have the chance to stay here again.

Admittedly, the facilities are quite old, so while the hygiene is acceptable, it can't compare to a standard hotel. However, the location is absolutely superb. The old gentleman running the place is very kind and even recommended local eateries and bike shops. For this price point, it's an ideal choice, and I'd definitely stay here again if the price remains the same.

The location is quite remote, which may not be convenient without a car. The private onsen facilities feel a bit old and could use some upgrading. Overall, it’s a quiet place, but expectations should be managed.

This hotel is incredibly authentic. The value for money is exceptional. Unfortunately, we had bad weather and couldn't see Mount Fuji from our room, but of course, that's not the hotel's fault. The rooms are clean and cozy; you feel like you've stepped into the Shogun series. The only downside was that the lobby was extremely cold. The hotel shouldn't skimp on heating the common areas.

The accommodation is in a very beautiful and quiet location, a calmer area than Kawaguchiko. We were unlucky, as the weather was bad for both days, so we didn't get to see Mount Fuji. That gives us a reason to come back again!

The room was clean and tidy, and the staff provided excellent service. The hotel's hot spring was also great. It's very close to Lake Yamanaka, and on a clear day, you can see both Mount Fuji and Lake Yamanaka very clearly.

This place is very close to Lake Yamanaka, and its off-street location makes it very quiet. If you're driving, you'll need to set your GPS to Yamanakako Post Office. The staff, especially the younger woman, was very polite and could communicate in both English and Mandarin. The whole place is a traditional Japanese ryokan with a bit of history. Don't expect it to be brand new, but it's clean and tidy...

We stayed with the smelt experience plan. There was a smelt shop just a minute's walk away, which was convenient. We only stayed overnight, but there were other shops within walking distance, so it was convenient. The bath was reasonably spacious, and since there was only one other guest, they gave us the bath to use privately.

This hotel is quite unique. It serve free breakfast with good quality and dlicious. The environment is good with clean fresh air and just like living a good home in the jungle.

We stayed here after climbing Mt. Fuji! When we asked the landlady about some light sightseeing for the next day, she recommended Lake Yamanaka Flower Park! Really really lovely owners. I went into the wrong room and made a mess but they didn't frett at all. It's not new if that's what you want. But the facilities are really well kept and sparkling.
