Very nice mount Fuji view and onsen facility. Room space is big and gorgeous hotel. Like it and definitely will stay the hotel again.
Highly recommend! You can soak in the hot springs while gazing at the stars, moon, and Mount Fuji. The sky is so clear, and the views are absolutely unbeatable. The front desk service was attentive, and the food was excellent too! Nice!!! This will definitely be my go-to hotel next time I visit Mount Fuji.
The hotel's location is excellent, very close to Shirotori Beach, and they offer convenient shuttle service up and down the mountain. You can get a close-up photo with Mount Fuji from the hotel, and we even saw the beautiful 'Pink Fuji' phenomenon. The guy at the front desk is from Shanghai, and he was very friendly and easy to communicate with, helping us pick a room with a great view. Being able...
This hotel boasts an excellent location. The open-air onsen offers stunning views of Mount Fuji, while the starry sky onsen allows you to gaze at the night sky. The hotel provides a shuttle bus service for transfers up and down the mountain, and there's a small convenience store on-site. The room features a twin bed along with a Japanese-style tatami mat. The breakfast is extensive. A must-stay when...
The hotel is beautiful, but its location on the mountain makes transportation a bit inconvenient. Luckily, the hotel offers a shuttle service. Just make sure you take the bus to Lake Yamanakako (Fuji Hotel Entrance) station and call for a pick-up from the 7-Eleven. Don't go to the wrong bus stop like we did, it delayed us for quite a while!
The hotel is located halfway up the mountain, and there's a shuttle bus service.

I have Had the best stay at Marriott, from check in to check out, from front staff to restaurant, they all very friendly and helpful! outstanding service! Hotel facilities are great too, love the outdoor hot spring with snowing view. Rooms are huge and clean, facing the forest 🌳 Foods are great also, they added a lot of Japanese element to western food. And they were all well-balanced. Very peaceful...
I stayed one night at Fuji Marriott Hotel Lake Yamanaka and really enjoyed the beautiful view of Mount Fuji from my room. The breakfast was very nice with a good variety of food. However, one thing that disappointed me was that I couldn’t turn off the hot spring water in the room. The running water sound made it difficult to sleep comfortably. Since I was only staying for one night, I didn’t request...
We loved the room and it was very big and comfortable and the mattress was excellent. The hotel is very clean and friendly. Service is very good and especially to the front desk executive  Mr Yuta. And most importantly the aircon and the heater which is very important as the temperature was -10c. And free parking very important if you drive.
This property offers outstanding value for money, with a prime location that makes exploring easy. The cleanliness is impeccable, and the staff are incredibly attentive and friendly, enhancing the overall experience. Facilities are well-maintained, featuring beautiful gardens and efficient housekeeping, although the amenities could use some improvement. Wi-Fi is reliable, making it easy to stay connected...
The location is a bit out of the way, but they offer a shuttle service if you book it in advance. On our last day, they even arranged to drop us off at a coffee shop.
Good location to see Mount. Fuji, paired with large, peaceful and comfortable room.

Quite a good choice if planned to visit Mt. Fuji
The hotel room is spacious, amenities provided such as toothbrush, comb, cotton pads and cotton buds. They also provide greentea powder and oolong tea bag. This hotel also has a hotspring. Parking is free just opposite the hotel. 1 minute walking distance to Family mart. The view is great as we can see the Lake Yamanaka just right in front of the hotel and Mt Fuji is really pretty from this location...
Everything was great, except for the bed being too soft. Otherwise, everything else was perfect. The Japanese-style pajamas were a lovely touch and made for a new memory. This trip to Japan was also very enjoyable. By the way, the service was excellent! 👍
Mount Fuji view is at side window. Lake Yamanakako is in-front of window. Lake is just cross the road. Open air Onsen is wading point. Few step walk to Family market. Walking distance to Bus stop with routing to Kawaguchiko Bus Terminal Express Bus to Mishima
Nice location .See Fujisan from bedroom . Onsen also good , hot , full facilities but too much steam in Onsen room. Friendly staff at the reception but one of a staff in breakfast zone not quite nice.
Quite nice hotel. Quite convenient. Although it looks old, it still clean enough

The advantage was that the room was spacious, with plenty of room! The entire room and bathroom were clean and tidy! The downside was that the young Japanese staff member at the breakfast restaurant was extremely rude. He stood there glaring at us, practically forcing us to leave the restaurant by 9 AM! Honestly, I understand needing to leave on time, but this staff member didn't understand that guests...
An older hotel, but very clean and great for watching the sunrise.
This time we were on a self-driving trip. There were 4 of us, and we rented 2 rooms. The rooms were very spacious, and the front desk staff were extremely polite. It took about 25 minutes to drive to eat. Overall, we were very satisfied.
Has hot springs, and the service is quite attentive; basically, it has everything you'd expect.
My stay here truly exceeded my expectations! ✨ As soon as I walked in, I was soothed by the whole atmosphere. The space was quiet and elegant, completely unlike being in the city center. The room was clean and spacious, and the bed was incredibly comfortable – I fell asleep instantly the moment I lay down. 😌 The view from the window was also a huge plus; pulling back the curtains in the morning really...

Right outside the hotel is Lake Yamanaka, which is quieter and more affordable than Lake Kawaguchiko. Plus, there are plenty of restaurants around that stay open late, so you don't have to worry about finding food at night. This means there's no real need to book dinner with your stay. The buffet dinner wasn't anything special, though the fruit was quite good. It's a bit of a distance to Fuji-Q Highland...
Great stay! The room was spotless and very tidy, and the hot springs were incredibly relaxing – super satisfied. The staff were all really warm and proactive, and their English was good, which made communication easy. The location is super convenient too, right where the bus drops you off.
This hotel is a bit old-fashioned but generally well-maintained. Many people take photos of a Japanese-style gate, but that's actually not part of the hotel; it belongs to a private residence next door. There were a lot of tour groups staying here. The dinner buffet was decent. Most of the front desk staff are from Southeast Asia and speak good English.
The surroundings are beautiful, with Lake Yamanaka and Mount Fuji being stunning.
This hotel is overall quite good. In the morning, I could see Mount Fuji from my room, which made the stay truly worth it. The hotel also has an onsen that is free for hotel guests. In addition, there is plenty of parking available, which is very convenient.
Hotel is good and affordable. Can view the fuji inside the hotel. Will definitely come again

The room was clean and the duvet was very warm, and the electric heater worked well. The shared bathroom had a small hot tub, which was fantastic! I had it all to myself when I used it, which was a real treat. The breakfast was simple yet delicious, and again, I had the dining room all to myself!
The couple who run this place are so bright and energetic, they really made my morning a pleasant one.
Very good! It's super close to the sunrise viewing spot and the bus stop. There's also a large 7-Eleven nearby, and breakfast is included. The room was really warm too. It was my first time staying in a tatami room, and I found it quite comfortable. I really liked it!
Overall, it was very comfortable. It must have been below zero outside that day, but the room wasn't cold at all. All the rooms now have air conditioning, so there's no kerosene smell as some might have experienced before. The only minor drawback is the limited snack options. Maybe a vending machine could be installed? But you can always grab snacks from the 7-Eleven by the station.
The accommodation is very close to the Yamanaka Hirano bus stop, which makes getting around super convenient. There's a convenience store nearby, but sit-down restaurants are a bit hard to find. They use an oil heater here, so there's a strong smell of oil. But if you're not bothered by that, I'd say the room is spacious and comfortable to sleep in. I visited on December 20, '68. It was raining that...

A very nice and clean hotel with friendly service
I will be coming again by next year and I will booked this place again
We stayed in hotel mifuji to watch the ice candle festival that was held yesterday Feb 22, 2026. We were supposed to stay for one night but because of the hospitality of the receptionist and also the hotel has a pool table that my partner liked, we extended for 1 more night. It’s good for guest with cars.
We arrived quite late that day, and the staff at the front desk spoke Chinese. I forget why, but they specially upgraded our room and had already turned on the heating for us. The parking lot is spacious and, since it's not on a main road, it's easy to access. The front desk, being a small hotel, has a cozy, homey feel. Good traditional food / old but warm , I love it .
This hotel at the foot of Mount Fuji was absolutely stunning! The room faced Mount Fuji directly, and opening the curtains in the morning revealed a breathtaking view of the "upside-down Fuji." The free onsen (hot spring) was incredibly refreshing! The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of Lake Kawaguchiko. While a bit pricey, it's definitely worth it. I highly recommend it to anyone...
It is convenient to drive by yourself. The staff is friendly. I originally chose the view of Mount Fuji, but I couldn't see Mount Fuji due to the snow. However, I saw a deer walking around in front of the window. The breakfast and dinner are acceptable to me. It is very close to Lake Yamanaka. I will definitely come next time.
We booked a mountain view room. When we opened the window, we could see a forest. We could barely see Mount Fuji through the gaps in the forest, so we didn't really need to worry about the mountain view or anything else. The quilt looked old, but it was still clean. There is a free hot spring, the pool is not big, and it is on the second floor.

No elevator, and the facilities are a bit dated. You can hear people talking next door. Otherwise, it's okay.
We stayed here on a family trip. (Breakfast included.) The food was delicious, and my kids were very happy with it. However, the lighting in the room was dim, and I wish they'd turned on the air conditioning before check-in... The humidity and heat were a bit overwhelming when we got to the room. Other than that, it was fine.
I've stayed here several times with family and friends, and I think it's a great hotel with cleanliness and excellent hospitality. I love the amazing view from the restaurant, and the breakfast there is delicious. The rooms are spacious and clean. I'd like to stay here again when I visit Lake Yamanaka. The owner was also very kind and accommodating.
Large space for the two-bed room and the view is quite good since the hotel situated in the wood area of the town. By the way, the manager is a wise gentleman who is always ready to help :)
It is located in a quiet villa area, but you can get there by paved road from National Route 413. The bathtub is very small and the toilet does not have a washlet or even a heated seat, but there is a washlet in the shared toilet on the first floor, so you will not be inconvenienced. From the welcome maple muffin and brown rice hot tea, to the lovely anniversary note in the room, the staffed welcomed us in as if they welcomed us home. The room has an incredible view of mt Fuji. From the instructional iPad, to light optional changes, sauna, and onsen. Great location to slip away!
To start the service is what made me write this review. Yamaguchi and yui were incredibly helpful in multiple regards there is service then there is service. I stayed in a suite room with a sauna that offered a view of Mt. Fuji. The room itself was very stylish, but the view was truly impressive. When I tell you I had the stay of a lifetime here I mean it! I am pretty well travelled too. Everything from check in to check out was impeccable! The surroundings are pleasant, right by Lake Yamanaka.
A very satisfying stop on my trip, Lake Yamanaka! Perfect scenery, excellent accommodations, and excellent meals. I highly recommend booking breakfast and dinner here. The place was kept relatively clean, though some minor hygiene issues are perhaps to be expected in a guesthouse setting. There was no hot water upstairs for washing, so we needed to use the communal shower downstairs. This wasn't an issue though, as it was rarely crowded, allowing us to use it privately during off-peak times. Both meals provided were incredibly generous and delicious. Highly recommended
You won't find a better hotel near Lake Yamanaka. We got an authentic room in traditional Japanese style with a view of a small forest and a hotel pond with fish. The location is quite remote, which may not be convenient without a car. The private onsen facilities feel a bit old and could use some upgrading. Overall, it’s a quiet place, but expectations should be managed.
This hotel is incredibly authentic. The value for money is exceptional. Unfortunately, we had bad weather and couldn't see Mount Fuji from our room, but of course, that's not the hotel's fault. The rooms are clean and cozy; you feel like you've stepped into the Shogun series. The only downside was that the lobby was extremely cold. The hotel shouldn't skimp on heating the common areas.
The accommodation is in a very beautiful and quiet location, a calmer area than Kawaguchiko. We were unlucky, as the weather was bad for both days, so we didn't get to see Mount Fuji. That gives us a reason to come back again!
The room was clean and tidy, and the staff provided excellent service. The hotel's hot spring was also great. It's very close to Lake Yamanaka, and on a clear day, you can see both Mount Fuji and Lake Yamanaka very clearly.
This place is very close to Lake Yamanaka, and its off-street location makes it very quiet. If you're driving, you'll need to set your GPS to Yamanakako Post Office. The staff, especially the younger woman, was very polite and could communicate in both English and Mandarin. The whole place is a traditional Japanese ryokan with a bit of history. Overall, a great experience with friendly and helpful staff. We stayed in a quad room on the first floor with a beautiful mountain view and a large garden. We could even see Mount Fuji from our room! Geographical location: Not very convenient, but the hotel has an open-air parking lot, which is suitable for self-driving tours. Hotel environment: clean, no odor in the room. There is a hot spring that is only open at night, you must try it.
The accommodation is good, but if you don't have a private car, it will be a bit difficult to travel. The hotel and staff are friendly. If you want to eat food, you have to make a reservation. Dinner in that area closes a bit early.
Overall it was a very good experience. Check-in was supposed to end at 22:00, but because I called in advance to inform them of my late arrival, the front desk waited until 23:00. Thank you very much. Please ignore my messy luggage.

Great location and nice views, but everything else is just so-so.
The B&B's location is excellent, and the price is moderate for this area. The view from the room was absolutely amazing; everyone should definitely try to book a room on the 2nd or 3rd floor. The owner even went out of their way to find us a good one.
Excellent location for viewing Mount Fuji. It's clean, but don't expect much in terms of service.
The old gentleman's English is excellent. If the weather is good, you can see Mount Fuji right from your room 🗻. The location is absolutely superb! The check-in time was a bit late, but that's understandable. It was great! I hope to have the chance to stay here again.
Admittedly, the facilities are quite old, so while the hygiene is acceptable, it can't compare to a standard hotel. However, the location is absolutely superb. Facilities: This is a guesthouse run by an elderly couple. It's about a 3-minute walk from the Hirono Station for express buses, and also very close to Hirono Beach. The rooms are Japanese-style (tatami), and the shared restrooms and communal bath are all very clean. Service: The elderly couple uses a translation device, and they'll explain the house rules during check-in. Overall, it was quite good...

The hotel was very clean, the rooms were large, and you could see Mount Fuji directly from the window. It was only a 3-minute walk to the Hirano Beach. I chose to stay here specifically to see the sunrise. The breakfast was a pleasant surprise, and I was very satisfied with my stay.
The room is a very traditional Japanese room. You can see Mount Fuji from the balcony, and the plain is right outside. The bathroom is shared, you can take a bath, and the shared toilet is also very clean. I will stay here again next time, it was a great stay! The front desk is an old lady and an old man. They don't understand English but have a translator. They also gave us Shingen cakes, which are...
The hotel is right on the shore of Zhongshan Lake. It is very convenient to walk a few steps to watch the sunrise and sunset. The Japanese rooms are clean and you can sleep by making your own bed at night. Public bathroom.
