Hotel Ofutei in Fukuyama

Staffs are super friendly and nice facilities. Lived their sister hotel too, also very good and  food even taste better.

This is a place that can only be reached by car, but it is very serene and unique here

Every night we were told that our kiseki dinner "has been upgraded" due to us changing to a smaller sea view room than the only mountain view room was available through trip.com. But every night at dinner, every guest were being served the same dishes. Makes us wonder what "upgraded" really means.

We stayed for 3 nights, breakfast variety gets boring after the second morning. This being a resort, closing breakfast service at 0915 is not helping us relax...

Rooms have good seaview. The open-air hot spring at the rooftop is superb. It is an ideal spot to unwind for a few days, with comfortable rooms and attentive service that make it easy to recharge.

Although this hotel has been open for many years, its facilities are still relatively new and complete, and the rooms are exceptionally clean and tidy.
The hotel warmly provides guests with snacks. We opted for breakfast and dinner, and the meals were surprisingly generous and varied.
The hotel offers a shuttle bus service to and from Fukuyama Station, which can be reserved by calling the hotel in advance. The staff are English-speaking.
The hotel's views are also worth mentioning: the vast ocean in front and the town and mountains in the back create a delightful and relaxing atmosphere.
Overall, this is a very good review.

The hotel has a shuttle bus, which is very convenient. You can go from the JR station to the hotel, or go to Fukuyama Castle or Shukkeien Garden. The cherry blossoms are in full bloom around. The room and hot spring face the sea, which is beautiful and comfortable. It is very leisurely to walk along the coast near the scenery.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The sea view from our room was fantastic. The hotel service and food were top notch.

Magnificent ocean view from the room and onsen. Very good service for everything: check-in, induction, restaurant, souvenir shop, check-out, shuttle bus…
Definitely would recommend to friends.
