Drop Inn TOTTORI - Hostel in Tottori

I liked the size of the beds and the little locker underneath it for your luggage. It is overall quite spacious and I had no issues with the shared areas like bathrooms and showers. But like all capsule hotels, the walls tend to be quite thin, so when someone flushes a toilet or is snoring on the other side of the wall, you can hear it. I think they had little earplugs, but it is best to bring your own so that you can get proper sleep

it's close to Tottori station, the room is larger than usual capsule room and I love it! the staff also speaking English. they provide free drinks between 18.30-21.30.

Stayed here for 3 nights - based myself here when returning from Matsue, intending to travel around Tottori & Kurayoshi.

Service was excellent, there's a short hair bespectacled female staff who speaks excellent English, having worked in Osaka.
Very helpful who gave great information on places of attraction & helped me dry my shoes when I was caught in the rain.
She mentioned the boss wanted to ensure guests have ample space & didn't build a double storey bed in the cabin hotel area, unlike most cabin hotels.
As another reviewer has mentioned, I'm able to stand in the cabin without my head hitting anything.

Very well located, bus terminal (local & Highway bus to Osaka/Kyoto), Tottori JR station, Aeon mall are few minutes away on foot.
As it's located in a relatively quiet area, it's not noisy.

They also have daily evening complimentary drink for guests where you can sample local whisky, sake or cocktails.

Rooms are clean & extremely affordable, highly recommend!

I took a capsule in the 6 bed room and it was nice clean and modern. But the strength of this hostel is the service. You will find a lot of recommendations on food and tours in the area. You will find maps and a little book with information on prices, food options and the english proficiency of the staff.
The first floor is a bar and common space. It is comfortable and not to full. In the corner you can use a kitchen. You will receive one free drink per day, and in the morning free juice and coffee is offered.

While the rooms are good and what you expect, they are nothing special. A classic 4/5. The service is, in regard to the price, very good. I always like guidance on the local cuisine, and free breakfast coffee is obviously appreciated.

Great capsule hotel with good staff! The person at the time spoke English so that made communication easier!

The capsule itself was comfortable for me and I am 5'11". If you are bigger than that, you won't be able to close the door to the capsule without scrunching your body. Another down side is that there is no AC or heater inside. To adjust the temperature, you have to open the door to the capsule.

There is an area to lock up your valuables, do laundry, and relax.

Highly recommend!

Very clean and new! Good choice to people who wants a nice place to sleep and spend the rest of the day outside visiting Tottori!

Staff speaks English and also most of the local guests! Near station, Malls, Restaurants and bars!

Cozy, clean, convenient and cost-effective.

The staff is warm and friendly.

I hope they have available hot water and refrigerator for guests.
