The hotel is located next to Tottori Station, less than 3 minutes from the station and bus stop; it has just celebrated its 50th anniversary and the rooms have been renovated, but the keys are still the same and the soundproofing is so-so; the breakfast food is okay, otherwise you would have to go back to the station for breakfast.

The hotel is located at excellent location which is just one minute from Tottori JR Station.

The location is convenient, just across from the station (about a 3-5 minute walk). There are many restaurants, supermarkets, and department stores nearby. Parking is limited, costing ¥600 per night.

The lobby has a slightly historic feel, is spacious and bright, and includes a members-only lounge area.

There are only two elevators, but the wait is usually short. The rooms are a bit small and, although renovated, still feel somewhat dated. The beds are of medium firmness, and the pillows are decent. The bedside tables have adjustable lights, radios, and air conditioning. The bathroom is clean but slightly old. The biggest drawback is the poor soundproofing; you can easily hear noises from the hallway and the wind blowing through the window gaps. At night, it sounds like a typhoon, even when the weather is fine. You can hear the wind in the morning, which might wake you up earlier. Improving the soundproofing is highly recommended.

Ice and vending machines are available in the common areas, but bottled water is not provided.

There is a souvenir shop in the lobby on the first floor, but no large public bath. Breakfast is available for an additional fee.

Stayed in room 1202 for 4 nights. The room facilities are old. It is recommended to book a newly renovated room.
Good point The breakfast is good with local characteristics. The transportation is convenient. It is on the left side of the JR Matsue Station after passing the traffic light 🚥. The surrounding facilities are complete.
Bad point The room is too noisy. I was woken up by the noise of the fan in the corridor or outside at night. I was woken up at 4-5 in the morning. There was also a smell of oil smoke in the bathroom. There was no bottled water and no self-service laundry service.
Facilities: a bit old
Hygiene: not bad
Environment: average, especially the noise problem
Service: average, some basic hotel facilities are not available

Not much facilities. Location ok with car parking around. Hotel is quite big, but not many guests staying.
Rooms are quite small, and quite clean. not many restaurants nearby. Room prices are reasonable.

Excellent location just few steps from the Tottori Station. Hotel has some history but still mantain in it's shape. Breakfast can be skpped as only limited food provided. Hotel is bit over priced with almost Yen 20,000/nite for a semi double room .......
