Reviews
The rooms are modern, dating back to the early Heisei era, but the keys are analog, and there doesn't seem to be a bath.
If you're not looking for a place to stay, it's neither particularly good nor bad, but the walls are thin, and the sneezing and coughing of the man next door are quite loud.
Basic amenities like towels, earplugs, an electric kettle, and a refrigerator are provided, but washcloths, razors, and drinks must be obtained from the lobby by yourself.
You need to ask some one to help you to call the receptionist number in order for the receptionist to arrive.
The hotel itself is old...but despite its age, it seems to have put in some effort!!
The facilities are old and it's a typical old business hotel, but the value for money is good - it's not something you can compare to five-star hotels overseas.
I had no problems or complaints at all, so I'm giving it 5 stars.
I'll stay here again if I have the opportunity.
It's a little far from the downtown area, but it's within walking distance.
The front desk staff are very helpful, but the soundproofing in the rooms is terrible.
You can clearly hear noises from the hallway and the next room,
so you can clearly hear coughs from the next room.
This is probably a problem with the guests, not the hotel, but there were people making noise in the middle of the night, so I couldn't sleep properly.
Earplugs are provided in the room, so I don't think I'll stay here again.
Hokkaido hotels have become ridiculously expensive in the summer months of July and August due to increased demand. It's not uncommon for hotels to cost nearly double what they did four years ago.
I finally found a single room with a shower and toilet, and it was a relief at just 8,600 yen, including breakfast.
But, how can I put it, it seems a bit pricey for this sadly declining area, where dozens of used detached houses, 30 or 40 years old, are being sold for 2.5 million yen or so. In Kyushu with the same population, a night's stay with breakfast would probably be around 5,000 yen. But it's Hokkaido in the summer!
I guess it can't be helped.
The town has become so cheap that I'm considering buying a cheap house, the equivalent of a car.
Oh, I've gotten off track.
The room is a spacious single room, as you can see in the photo. It's old, but not inconvenient. There's an outlet near the bed that can be extended. The telephone has a retro feel to it, which is nice.
The instant coffee service at the front desk is appreciated.
Breakfast is an additional 990 yen.
It's a good hotel if you're just looking to sleep. There's also parking for several dozen cars.
The walls are thin, so you can hear even a sneeze as if you were right in front of me, so they thoughtfully provide earplugs next to the bed. Lol
The light on the table in the room we entered didn't work.
We stayed here as a family of four, including a couple and two elementary school-aged children.
The Japanese-style room had two futons and two beds.
It was spacious and good value for money for the price.
It's hard to find a business hotel where four people can stay in the same room, so I don't think it's easy to find one that's less than 10,000 yen and can accommodate the whole family.
It was simple and had the bare minimum of facilities, but we had no problems. We're very satisfied.
