Overall it was okay, but please be aware that the room door did not close properly, there were uncomfortable toilets, and there were mosquitoes and fleas.

Its advantages lie in its excellent location and relatively low price, but it requires shared bathroom facilities.

It's an old-fashioned Japanese-style hotel in a great location. The only minor drawback is that the bathroom and shower are shared, but there's nothing we can do about it, and the shower has 24-hour hot water. The landlady is a very energetic woman in her 80s; we took a photo together before I left. It's a hotel I'll definitely miss.

The bedding was clean, although it looked a little old.

I think there are three advantages to staying at the restaurant: first, the location is convenient, it's about a 5-minute walk to the Outer Shrine; second, the dinner and breakfast were really delicious, photos attached; third, the lady there is very kind! She's had Chinese guests before, so she speaks Chinese too.

My brother and I booked one night here the other week to see Ise Shrine. We left our bags and came back later in the day. The tatami room we shared was quite large but as soon as I lay out futon for a nap two Japanese college kids checked in right next to us and acted like frat boys on Spring Break. "Mecha mecha hiroii!!!". We could hear every exuberant word and utterance through the paper thin "wall" dividing our rooms. We were exhausted so rather than trying to deal with them or keep them quiet we decided to immediately check out and return to Nagoya proper, having already visited the shrine. The 90+ year-old ladies who run the place offered another room but we lost confidence it would be quiet enough, given the rowdy guests...and, surprisingly, they offered us an 80% refund.

I loved staying here. Everything about it was incredible. Yes it is small, but i knew that going in. I had a room to myself so i didn't have to share with anyone. If i did i could see it feeling cramped. They do however have bigger rooms if available. I loved loved loved the inn keeper. I almost cried saying goodbye to her. She brought so much joy to my day. She doesn't speak English but in my group there was a Japanese speaker so we got by fine. Obviously it would be difficult if you can't speak Japanese. But in that case bust out the Google translate. I highly recommend staying here. It was one of the best hotel experiences i ever had.

It was a wonderful inn in many ways, reminiscent of the Showa period. My mom was said to be 83 years old. I may bother you next year as well. I want you to be fine and do your best.

I stayed because there was a vacancy during the consecutive holidays.
It was about 7,000 yen including the parking lot without meals.
The air conditioner was broken and it was cold.
When I tried to take a bath, my aunt got into it, so I went to a nearby super public bath.
The location is excellent as it is within walking distance to the outer shrine of Ise Jingu.

Book a one night stay with two meals at Jalan. It didn't even look like the dinner that was posted. I was kept waiting for two and a half hours at 18:00 check-in, and what came out was
Frozen sashimi and cold tempura.
The location may be good, but it was a very disappointing inn.
