We were upgraded to a suite, which was a pleasant surprise given how spacious it was – quite rare for Japan. It's an older five-star hotel with a free shuttle service to the city center and it's right next to a subway station. The river in front of the hotel offers a nice view too. The hotel was very clean, the staff were polite, and the room was spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was good, and the price I booked through Ctrip was not high. This was the most satisfying hotel of my trip to Japan.

It is a newly renovated hotel with long history. There are shops, restaurants and 7-11 within the hotel. There are science museum,art museum in walking distance and convention centre next door. There is a train station just under the hotel but it is a remote line and hardly linked to the main lines. The hotel's facilities are decent, a bit dated but well-maintained. It's right above a subway station, but it's on a less central line. You'll need to transfer to another station, and it's an outside transfer, to reach popular areas. However, the hotel offers a convenient shuttle service to Umeda Station.

The location is perfect. The room is a bit small but the soundproofing is good. You can use your hotel room card to go directly to the supermarket downstairs. Check-in and check-out are done via self-service machines, which is very friendly for tourists who don't speak Japanese.

The location is fantastic, super convenient for getting to any attraction or city. Shopping is a breeze with pharmacies, malls, and supermarkets everywhere. Plus, there's a direct airport shuttle to both Kansai Airport and Itami Airport. Dining is also incredibly easy; the 8th floor downstairs has all sorts of delicious food options, and you can even pay directly with WeChat Pay.

Extremely close to Kyoto Station, and it was wonderful for everyone in the family to have their own bed. The room amenities were thoughtfully prepared with three of each item, and the toothbrushes even came in three different colors, which was a nice touch.

A decent city hotel located near to Honmachi stn. It's easy to confuse with Honmachi Eki-Mae 「Tower」, which is more taller and more popular to foreigners. Conpared to that, the room size seems to be smaller and there are not so much convenience facilities such as Family mart. However, still, the service including room cleaning is perfect. And, overall, the room is quiet.

Solid and good hotel for the price! The reason for three stars is that there were mold visible on fittings in the bathroom. Other then that the hotel is up to the Apa standard of well run, wonderfully staffed and easy to use living accommodations for normal working people visiting or doing their job in Osaka.

I really enjoyed my stay at Kobe Sannomiya Union Hotel. The location in Sannomiya is very convenient — only a short walk from the main train stations — making it easy to explore Kobe.

For a single person the room can be considered enough if not intend to stay many hours in the hotel, the location is ok very convenient that the Blue meteo line is exactly outside the main entrance but the rest are falling short. For me was the cheapest option for the last minute trip and didn't mind the accomodation too much, but still it fell crowded and small.

The room was a bit small, but the location is incredibly convenient for getting around and exploring! It's easy to reach the hotel from the B1 food hall of Daimaru Department Store. Plus, there's a large bus service nearby that goes to Kansai Airport, costing 1800 JPY for adults and 900 JPY for children, making it especially suitable for families with kids.

Coming from Kobe to Osaka Umeda, the hotel is conveniently located directly above the Daimaru department store. There's a direct elevator from the JR station straight up to the 19th-floor lobby. The surrounding underground shopping area is extensive and has everything you could possibly need. The hotel's breakfast was good. I would definitely stay here again, it was great!

This resort hotel offers a fantastic view of the entire Kobe city. The buffet restaurant on the top floor is excellent, with delicious and abundant food, and the night view is absolutely stunning. It's an ideal choice for both leisure and business travelers.

They only clean your room every fourth day of your stay. The room is relatively small but has almost everything you need. But the location is superb, literally just next to the Osaka Station, just have to get out from the right exit gate. There's also a bus terminal just outside the hotel and you can purchase the bus ticket to the airport on the same day of your departure.

there’s only one thing i wanna feedback is about this hotel they use centralised air conditioning. I’m travelling in early dec, that is only for heater… which we have to request to the hotel to open up the window for cold air to flow in - which mean the temperature is uncontrollable, is whether u have to open up narrower or wider of the window to decide and most likely you can’t get a ideal temperature...

We liked a lot the location - close to all the shops you might need. Our room was quiet small, for two beds and two futons. We enjoed our stay especially because of the breakfast. A wade range of dishes including vegetables, meats, fruits. A bit japanese style, a bit european style.

This is an established five-star hotel in the heart of Osaka, boasting an excellent location. Shinsaibashi Station on the Midosuji Line is right downstairs, and it's just a seven or eight-minute walk to Shinsaibashi and Dotonbori. This hotel has a lot of Minion-themed elements, and there's a Universal gift shop in the lobby. While it's not the closest to Universal Studios, it's very quiet, and you can see the park from the room windows. The breakfast is quite extensive, offering both Japanese and Western options.

This hotel is conveniently located in the Umeda business district, right next to Osaka Station, offering beautiful night views. During the day, you can walk to Nakanoshima, and if you're up for it, even to Osaka Castle. The rooms are spacious and clean, meeting Hilton's usual high standards.

Many varieties dishes at the highest floor restaurants: Table 36, good sightseeing. Hotel located near Namba Station, easy to travel around.

Considering the age of the hotel, it's actually quite well-maintained. The only minor issue is the bathroom is a bit small, making it hard to find space for toiletries. However, the view outside the window is absolutely fantastic; you can enjoy the panoramic scenery effortlessly morning, noon, and night.

Really best of the best, location (5 mins from shin kobe station, subways local trains to hotel, ropeway and herb gardens etc).  Best service upon check in, best food, best room.  No words to express my happiness during my stay in this hotel.

The room was clean and well maintained. The location was convenient, and the staff were very kind. I had a comfortable stay and would recommend this hotel.

Good location can just take the lift down to subway and shinkansen. Great breakfast and room slightly bigger than normal.

The hotel is conveniently located right next to Shin-Kobe subway station, just one stop away from Sannomiya, the city center. However, that one subway stop costs 210 yen, which is quite a bit more expensive than what you'd pay back home. So, if you have some time, a pleasant 10-15 minute walk is a great alternative. The facilities are quite old, and the refrigerator hums too loudly. I had to turn it off at night to sleep. Luckily, after discussing it, I was able to store items needing refrigeration in the hotel's customer service fridge.
