Very quiet, friendly service, food was the best food I had in Japanese hotels for over 15 years. (Traditional Japanese food, not crowded with limited rooms and very personalized service. Ocean view (our room), clean and comfortable beds. Overall, relaxing and loved it. Forgot to say but there was plenty of food. Hot bath was a little out dated but it felt like a private bath since we were always alone whenever we used it.
They picked us up from train station and dropped off, offered the service everyday if we needed. (Almost 10 minutes walk from station.)

This lodging is within walking distance of Meoto Iwa Rocks, making it a very convenient location for morning and evening strolls and sightseeing.
The building and rooms have a Showa-era feel, but are very clean. The food was also very satisfying. The stew was especially delicious! (They also served grilled oysters, which are not pictured.)
The only downside was that the water pressure in the shower in the bath area weakened significantly when multiple people were using it.
I would definitely stay here again if I'm traveling to Toba-Ise.

The bathroom smelled moldy

I guess the only negative thing is that you can't go out after 11pm.
That's the only thing I'm disappointed about.

Couple was super friendly. Stay was very comfortable. Google translate helped break communication barriers :)

I am a female traveler. The customer service is amazing. I give the staff five perfect stars! They try their hardest to speak English with me. I feel bad because language barrier is always tiresome for the hosts. They are very kind and made me feel as comfortable as possible. At night, it’s very quiet! The public baths were slightly small, but it’s clean. Because the public bath area is small, If there were more than 2 people, I would start feeling uncomfortable. The dinner and breakfast were delicious! I give the food five stars!!! The ryokan beds were comfortable and very clean. I like my own large sink and toilet in my room. I would recommend this place for mature and quiet foreigners. GREAT location as well. For dinner and breakfast, 1 child and 1 adult, I paid around $195 USD. Another downfall is there are no taxis around, so it would be difficult to trust only on public busses.

It's very old, and it feels like a B&B. I only saw two buildings of MS Hotel in Futamiura. The others are similar to this three-story Japanese-style old house B&B. There is no shower in the room. You have to go to the public room on the first floor. The bathhouse (is small, but very clean, almost no one there), the Japanese old man who owns it is very nice, and the dinner and breakfast are very good. I just wanted to add some Matsusaka beef, but he said it was not available😓. I feel that the price is a bit expensive during the cherry blossom season, because I booked it on the morning of my check-in, so there may be less choices. Only this hotel has available rooms.

Stayed for two nights, booked very last minute (on the morning of arrival).
Hosts are very welcoming and helpful, service is excellent. The room had a ocean view, and was very comfortable although the walls are a bit thin and the neighbors could sometimes be heard coughing.
The breakfast was excellent and the onsen was more than okay.

We stayed for two days with a plan without dinner and with breakfast.
The inn was full of Showa era, and the employees were very warm and kind!
Tourist attractions such as Meotoiwa and Ise Sea Paradise are nearby, and the location was quite good.
The stairs are steep and old overall, but they are in good condition and clean. It was very helpful that the restroom was renovated into a Western style with a washlet ...!
The large windows overlook the ocean and the magnificent pine forest. In the nice chair space by the window, which is peculiar to the inn, we had the tea and sweets provided while looking at the scenery.
Breakfast is eaten in a private tatami room, but since it is a table type, I was happy with my legs tired from walking around Ise.
Not to mention the abundant number of items such as bittern tofu and sweet and spicy tuna, the freshly cooked rice in the ohitsu was just excellent! The amount is just right to fill your stomach, so if you want to eat a lot, you can visit the nearby salted yokan shops.
The futon was also fluffy and the best inn! The only concern is that the hot water in the shower doesn't warm up until I wait for a while, but it was nice because it had the taste of Showa.
Also, when I visit Ise, I definitely want to repeat it. Thank you very much.
