The hotel is a 5-minute walk from the bus stop and is located in a quiet, beautiful area.
The traditional Japanese-style room is quite spacious and has a toilet, but no private bath. A shared bath on the ground floor is available during limited hours. A bit disappointing was that there were no keys for the room and the door didn't lock.
Dinner is vegetarian, and it's served at a specific time.
Overall, it was a fun experience and I highly recommend it.

A very beautiful temple and hotel next to it. Everything is in Japanese style. Very clean public bathroom.

The environment is elegant, the dinner and breakfast are very plentiful, and the hygiene conditions are good.

Best- Morning ceremony and the shrine- the rayokan needs overall a facelift- i m not talking about a new style but some walls e.g in the dinner room look like in the years and consumed. The room was , ice could‘ so it tooks an hour for getting on comfortable temperature- pre heating could be expected- price performance not given completely

After making the pilgrimage to the 88 sacred places of Shikoku, I made a reservation and stayed at Kongo-Sami-in Temple in Mt. Koya. It was a historic temple, and it was great. The next day was a day of the Rat, so I went to Oku-no-in and got goshuin stamps at two places.

The toilet and bath seemed to have been renovated, and unlike the atmosphere of the room, they were very modern and clean. I was very satisfied with being able to do morning services as is customary in a temple lodging.

The quilt in the room is very soft and warm, and the meals are rich. The room has no threshold, making it convenient for night tours. Morning classes are very interesting.

The accommodation and the temple are not in the same building and are 20 meters apart. The temple is very quiet, beautiful and simple. The accommodation is completely Japanese-style and has complete facilities. The morning classes starting at 6:30 in the morning are full of ritual and parking is convenient.
