Sankei City Hotel in Hachioji

When I entered the room, it was filled with the smell of cigarette smoke and air freshener that had been overturned in a bucket...it was so smelly that I got a headache and couldn't stay there for more than 10 minutes. In fact, the hallways and lobby smelled bad too.
I thought it would be okay, so I decided to ban smoking without checking, so it's my fault and I can't help it...For the first time in my life, I checked out on the spot that day. Unfortunately, I didn't get a refund. By the way, I was still suffering from a headache about an hour after leaving.
Thank you for the wonderful memories that made me never want to stay in this city again.
The room and facilities were dirty, so even if I had stayed normally, I think it was poor value for money. It was a pricey lesson learned.

I'm planning to stay at a hotel, but
I called to confirm something before my stay, but the basics of telephone etiquette were not being followed. They tried to move forward with the conversation before I confirmed the details of my stay, and they didn't understand and came back to confirm later, or they put me on hold abruptly and hung up the phone first, which made me feel very uncomfortable even before my stay.
Maybe it's because the price is reasonable, but I'm worried that they don't show basic courtesy.

The smoking room smells so bad. The location is good.
