Now Resort was very polite and kind, attentive, greeting, customer service, everything was the best. However, the room I booked through Trip was changed because it was not suitable for families. The hotel is clean and tidy. The hotel has excellent Onsen baths with hot spring water. You can book a separate room with a bath, this is a 24-hour service. The hotel has a shuttle service to the center of Kusatsu. We booked a stay without meals, went to the center. In the rooms they give clothes and slippers in Japanese style

When I arrived, the door was under renovation, but everything else was fine.

Although it is a little far from Yubatake, there are minibuses that shuttle back and forth every 15 minutes. The food is very good, which is a bit unexpected. This is the highlight of our trip in Japan. The food, service, cleanliness, location, room and the access to the loungue is just perfect. It was hard to leave this hotel at the end of our trip.

We enjoyed the inclusive services a lot. The private onsens were amazing and our room had a very great view.

Nice room and onsen bothe private and in room, enjoy stay and Kusatsu atmosphere.

Free beer, soup, ramen, private onsen!

Highly recommended. Definitely worth the money. (Free) shuttle service from/to Karuizawa saved us much time. All the onsens (including the one inside the room) are enjoyable. Definitely will visit again.

It's incredibly spacious and pleasant. Among all the ryokans I've visited, this one is definitely top-notch. The food is delicious and the service is excellent.

I booked the highly-rated Bouun Ryokan three months in advance, supposedly in business for 462 years! The interior decor and tatami rooms were surprisingly new. The room service, the dining environment for dinner, and the exquisite Kaiseki cuisine were all incredibly impressive. We stayed for two nights, with breakfast and dinner included. The facilities are up to standard. But the location is a bit far from the centre of the attraction. Need to walk up the slope for getting to the hotel. So rmb to need call shuttle bus to hotel. The overall service met our expectation, but not exceeding. More specifically, other onsen hotel can provide similar service, maybe more.

The hotel is beautiful and the rooms are spacious, but the heating was a bit insufficient. The public hot spring was excellent, and the private bath was also good. Dinner was very generous, but breakfast was too simple.

The hotel is located halfway up the mountain, about a 10-minute walk from the bus station. You can call the hotel for a pick-up, as dragging luggage uphill yourself can be a bit strenuous. The room layout is typical for a classic onsen hotel, nothing special but perfectly adequate. We only booked breakfast, and it was surprisingly delicious.
