There was a dog run and the dogs seemed to have a lot of fun.

It is a pension where you can stay with your dog. The owner couple are very warm, gentle and welcoming. Although it is small, there is a dog run, and the dogs are satisfied. The food is completely homemade and very healthy and delicious. It's not fancy, but it's enough to fill you up. It's a great location to escape the heat in the summer and enjoy skiing in the winter.

I stayed with my pet. The food is delicious and the facilities are beautiful. The service is also attentive. Kirara is also healed.

First time staying in a ryokan, and the experience is awesome! The hospitality and food provided by the ryokan owner is top notched. Their in house onsen is a must try, theres few option available, but i like dew the most as we can open up the window and enjoy the winter wind, while soaking in a hot water.

Breakfasts were excellent. Every staff were friendly and we really felt like home. Location is nearby the major travel spot but not noisy. Everything is good, just a very little thing: moved luggages by hand to room at 2nd floor. To me as a hushand and a daddy, it meant luggages of 3 persons I moved.

I came to Kusatsu with some friends to spend three days, and this ryokan was absolutely perfect for relaxing after so much walking around. The hot spring baths could bring the dead back to life. At first I really couldn't find the main door. I thought I had to take the stairs to carry my luggage up, but I ended up taking the elevator from the hot spring area to the second floor and walking through the overpass to the main building to check in! The place overall it's quite good, especially with the food and shinkansen package. My biggest complaint are the beds which are terrible, uncomfortable, and really messed up my back.
