Excellent value for money for a no frills traveller ike me. I wish some stuff can be conversant in English.

This hotel is good location in the downtown.

Helpful stuff assisted me with booking a restaurant. No public bath available. Rooms and TV a bit tiny, could benefit from some renovation but good enough for a short stay.

I like everything. Only room size is little small. Clean. Place is close to main place. I stay at this hotel every time visiting at Kagoshima.

It was a nice stay overall, but the walls and door to the room were very thin and I could hear everything in the hallway at all times so sometimes I would wake up to the noise. The onsen was also quite crowded throughout my multi-night stay, but the café/bar was very nice. The staff were very warm and friendly.

Because the hotel had no water or electricity, we arranged to stay at Nakahara Villa, a Japanese-style tatami room. The room has 2 beds, has a hot spring, is also located very close to the planetarium, and includes Japanese breakfast. Everything is pretty good. Accept the arrangement.

Located in the city center, convenient for city transportation, shopping, and restaurants. You can relieve the fatigue of the day in the natural hot springs (mainly men's baths). The facilities are old but clean. The room size is small, but not inconvenient to use.

Please check the opening days and hours of the hot springs and sauna before booking your stay. The hot springs and saunas are generally open to men, but there are also ladies' days. My visit overlapped with a ladies' day. Also, perhaps due to the pandemic schedule, the hot springs are not open late at night. Fantastic hotel! It's right by the Sakurajima Ferry, and you can even see Sakurajima Volcano from your room. It's also really close to Kagoshima Station, with a tram and bus stop right outside. Super convenient for getting anywhere!

Small and simple room but easily reachable from the train station. There’s a big supermarket directly in front of the hotel which is great.

Nice room with the view of sakurajima island in some room direction. Room is nice and good for the price. Only drawback is although close to Kagoshima station, it’s a quite location and you need to walk 5 mins to convenient stores. Restaurant is also limited and close early.

The older gentleman at the front desk was very kind. He offered plenty of welcome drinks and even gave me ice with a glass, which was very thoughtful. I was very pleased and will definitely be returning.

The room was very large. Having lived in Tokyo for so long, the contrast in Kagoshima was striking. The price was reasonable and the room was spacious – I was very satisfied. The lobby offered complimentary water, drinks, and coffee, which was nice. The only slight drawback was that the room had a slightly damp smell.

It's very close to Izuro-dori Station on the Kagoshima tram line. There's a highly-rated tendonya (temple bowl restaurant) nearby called Ageya Daiichi, which I highly recommend. The laundry room on the second floor of the hotel was quite empty, which was a huge help. Thank you.

It is a small hostel. Staffs were nice. I like it as a family style However, I thought I booked the single room but it wasn't. I requested to change to single room but all full. Other than that, everything was good.

Very close to Kagoshima Chuo, cozy, everything is there. A towel costs 100 yen, bunk beds; closed with a curtain, has its own kitchen, dining area. Bath and shower are normal. I really liked the location, the staff. Everything is great for unpretentious tourists. Good luck!

The location is good, next to Kagoshima Chuo Station. The hygiene is average. I guess they don't even change the duvet covers, just the pillowcases and flyers. It's next to the railway, so it can be a bit noisy when the train passes by.

I booked this hotel through a major domestic online travel agency. To head to the hotel from Kagoshima-Chuo Station, if you're taking the city tram (streetcar), transfer at Gunmoto and get off at Kisaba, which is the most convenient option. The room is very small, old, and a bit worn. The window doesn't open, and the hallway sometimes smells of cigarettes. The only problem is that the Wi-Fi connection is really bad. But the bed is quite comfortable, and for the price, the overall package is acceptable.

Located right at a crossroads, it was a nightmare to sleep at night because of the constant traffic. The service was good; breakfast included a cup of coffee and a bread roll. The Wi-Fi was a bit slow on the first day, probably because many people were using it, but it worked fine for the next few days after most of the neighbors checked out.

Encountering a lot of bugs may change the situation. The equipment is very old, there is no sound insulation at all, and nothing seems to be updated or repaired. The above general transitional accommodation is still barely acceptable. But the dust, cobwebs, and bathroom hygiene are daunting... The quality of the hot springs is excellent.

Stayed here for two nights over the holidays. The room was nice with a view of Sakurajima. Access to the Sakurajima ferry was also good. The room was worth the price. There was a decent coin laundry. Convenience stores were a bit far away on foot. For breakfast, we went to Gusto, which was a three-minute walk away. The parking lot (additional charge) wasn't very large.

The room was clean. The steps to the flooring were high, so you need to be careful when climbing up and down. The large public bath was private and comfortable.
