It's located in Tenmonkan so there's no problem finding somewhere to eat. It was clean and check-out was at 11am so I was able to relax.

Super Iconic hotel and very comfortable to stay in! We were here for two nights and would totally recommend this to whoever visiting Kagoshima. Public seperate bath at the top floor (13F), free ice cubes, parking is 1000JPY per night, there are washing machine and drying services, get the rooms that face sakurajima! The room was decent, not too small. We could fit two suitcases by moving the table. The volcano view was absolutely stunning; we even saw an eruption on our first day, making the observatory mountain feel unnecessary. Breakfast was also very rich and plentiful.

Think Toyoko Inn is the gold standard for all budget hotels in Japan, or even all over the world. The room is small but enough to accommodate 2 persons comfortably. Have everything that a traveller needs, Provided breakfast with coffee in the morning and left luggage facilities. Best !

Great! It's very close to Kagoshima Central Station, practically right next door. When you're tired from sightseeing, the hotel even has hot coffee available, and lots of free Kagoshima tourist information brochures.

There is great facilities, and nice services. Inside room, it has air conditioner, air purifer, and bath etc. I enjoyed this nice business hotel. Also, breakfast is good. So many tiny dishes and you can jp taste as much as possible.

At southern part of Kagoshima city, it's a bit far from downtown. But the adjacent Marine restaurant Compira Maru is very nice. Fresh sashimi and sushis of various marine delicacies are available at reasonable price.

Average hotel. Room too hot can’t control temperature even aircon turned down to minimum. Irritating motion sensor light in the hall keeps coming on if you move at night. Average small onsen. Quite a soul less hotel.
