Super Iconic hotel and very comfortable to stay in! We were here for two nights and would totally recommend this to whoever visiting Kagoshima

It was small, the water wasn’t hot in the evening, and several used towels were left in the sauna even hours before closing time. You’d expect the facilities to be kept clean and tidy until the end of the day

Public seperate bath at the top floor (13F), free ice cubes, parking is 1000JPY per night, there are washing machine and drying services, get the rooms that face sakurajima! A huge shopping mall just right across the hotel!

Located next to a big mall where you can find Uniqlo, Diaso and many others. The hotel is very big and many guests came to attend conference and then stayed

Perfect for a relaxing Kagoshima getaway. The shuttle service is super convenient for exploring the city, and combined with a one-day transport pass, a two-night stay is just right

Excellent service and location. Only downfall was the size of the bed, the small double really was a SMALL double. Very uncomfortable for a few nights.

The breakfast is really rich and delicious, and the late-night ramen (Yeming Noodle) was also very tasty – the lady serving it was really busy! The hot spring on the 14th floor, though not large, is very clean

I stayed in a single room, and there's an extra door between the room and the main corridor, which made it very quiet. The airport bus stop is very close to the hotel, just two traffic lights away

Conveniently located near the planetarium, the complimentary late-night ramen was delicious every day, and the hot springs were incredibly relaxing with ice cream available afterwards

The rooftop public  bath is worth recommending.  The service is very good and the place is very clean.  The complimentary noodles in the evening are excellent!

The person who cleaned my room that day really needs to improve. The cleaning quality was equivalent to a 3-star hotel in China or below, the worst I've encountered in Japan, a shame given the excellent facilities

I booked a room with a view of Sakurajima, and it was like a painting; I could see the volcano and sunrise just by opening the curtains

An absolutely perfect hotel! There's a shuttle bus every half hour to the station and the Tenmonkan shopping area. Plus, you can buy a cute pass for a one-day tour right at the front desk, which is super convenient

I stayed with the GOTO campaign. Since the mince started and I was running low on food, I asked by email the day before what food would be offered. I received a polite response and asked what I could eat

I used the hot spring twice that night, but the front desk noticed that I had a wet towel and I heard from him. I wanted to use it again when there was a staff member who cared so much about me

The surrounding area is also very quiet, so you won't be disturbed at night. The hotel staff are very friendly and help make your beds every day. So I booked 3 nights for this short trip

It is very attractive that parking is free at a hotel located downtown, and since there were not many guests, we were able to rent out the large public bathhouse

There was also a Goemon bath called Himeyu. The indoor bath was also spacious. You can't use the sauna without a special mat

There is a large parking place just front of the hotel. A 24 hours "coin laundry" about 3 minuts distance by car. You can clean and dry your clothes for few hundred yen's coin in about one hour

The last time I stayed, the open-air bath was dimly lit due to electrical work, but today it was properly repaired and comfortable

Very nice hotel with an ocean view! Attached natural onsen, and great breakfast.

The onsen attendants didn't speak English and were a little flustered when we showed up to bathe at 8:25am (it closes at 9:00am) She tried to discourage us from entering, doubting that you will be done in time, but we pantomimed that we understood and would be done well before 9:00am

The sauna was also spacious and could comfortably accommodate about 10 people, and there were chairs for resting placed everywhere. The open-air bath was heart-shaped and spacious, with a sense of openness

Bath Monopoly alone is the pole of luxury Supper kaiseki, the taste is strong overall, I don't hate it, I like mackerel, Saikyo-yaki, and the fat was really delicious. Breakfast necessary and sufficient thank you

This is a very child-friendly hotel. There are lots of toys for children in the resting area after the bath, a large grassy area where you can play ball games, a small park, and a bouncing bed

For backpackers hiking from Sakurajima Port towards Sakurajima Exit, the pork cutlet is a great way to replenish energy

The outdoor onsen here is fantastic! The view is amazing. The outdoor bath is a mixed one, so for the women, you might want to bring a large towel, though of course for those that aren't shy it's not a necessity.

The open-air bath at the seaside has rusty-smelling yellow water, but the iron (Fe) inorganic salts are beneficial for wound healing

Very good hotel and we got a good deal to stay. The male staff from front desk explained to us on all the nitty gritty, in a typical Japanese polite way. Onsen is at 4 floors and it is typical Japanese Onsen

The hotel however is away from the town center which might be inconvenient for some travellers that wan to walk around

There are washing and drying facilities on the 4th floor which is budget friendly, where we wash our laundry
