Super Iconic hotel and very comfortable to stay in! We were here for two nights and would totally recommend this to whoever visiting Kagoshima

It was small, the water wasn’t hot in the evening, and several used towels were left in the sauna even hours before closing time. You’d expect the facilities to be kept clean and tidy until the end of the day

Public seperate bath at the top floor (13F), free ice cubes, parking is 1000JPY per night, there are washing machine and drying services, get the rooms that face sakurajima! A huge shopping mall just right across the hotel!

Located next to a big mall where you can find Uniqlo, Diaso and many others. The hotel is very big and many guests came to attend conference and then stayed

Perfect for a relaxing Kagoshima getaway. The shuttle service is super convenient for exploring the city, and combined with a one-day transport pass, a two-night stay is just right

Excellent service and location. Only downfall was the size of the bed, the small double really was a SMALL double. Very uncomfortable for a few nights.

The breakfast is really rich and delicious, and the late-night ramen (Yeming Noodle) was also very tasty – the lady serving it was really busy! The hot spring on the 14th floor, though not large, is very clean

I stayed in a single room, and there's an extra door between the room and the main corridor, which made it very quiet. The airport bus stop is very close to the hotel, just two traffic lights away

Conveniently located near the planetarium, the complimentary late-night ramen was delicious every day, and the hot springs were incredibly relaxing with ice cream available afterwards

The rooftop public  bath is worth recommending.  The service is very good and the place is very clean.  The complimentary noodles in the evening are excellent!

Kagoshima is a beautiful place, and everyone I met was so kind and helpful. It’s also been a sister city with Changsha for over 30 years

The person who cleaned my room that day really needs to improve. The cleaning quality was equivalent to a 3-star hotel in China or below, the worst I've encountered in Japan, a shame given the excellent facilities

I booked a room with a view of Sakurajima, and it was like a painting; I could see the volcano and sunrise just by opening the curtains

An absolutely perfect hotel! There's a shuttle bus every half hour to the station and the Tenmonkan shopping area. Plus, you can buy a cute pass for a one-day tour right at the front desk, which is super convenient

The hot spring bath area was quite large overall, but the outdoor section felt a bit small. Breakfast was very crowded, with many locals staying there

The location was great and the staff were wonderful, but it's hard to deny that it's a long-established establishment! However, the price was reasonable and the location was great, so I'd definitely like to use it again.

I stayed there over the New Year holidays, and they served New Year's soba noodles, served alcohol, and held other events, so I think they are run with their customers in mind

I stayed with the GOTO campaign. Since the mince started and I was running low on food, I asked by email the day before what food would be offered. I received a polite response and asked what I could eat

I used the hot spring twice that night, but the front desk noticed that I had a wet towel and I heard from him. I wanted to use it again when there was a staff member who cared so much about me

The surrounding area is also very quiet, so you won't be disturbed at night. The hotel staff are very friendly and help make your beds every day. So I booked 3 nights for this short trip

It is very attractive that parking is free at a hotel located downtown, and since there were not many guests, we were able to rent out the large public bathhouse

The location is fantastic! It's very convenient for visiting Shiroyama Observatory, Terukuni Shrine, the planetarium, Kagoshima Castle, and Sakurajima

Polite staff and place was clean but bed was far too hard and impossible to sleep on, central cooling was too cold on and too hot off, they don't tell you beforehand parking is 1000 Yen a night and water pressure in the shower was mediocre

- Staffs are really kind even towards foreigner tourist. - Good hot spring, but you should use a coin locker with a charge (around 200 to 300 YEN) to keep your valuables. hot spring can be crowded in day time

Interesting Japanese onsen experience. For western travellers is a nice way to get insight in traditional onsen culture. Food was so interesting at the restaurant downstairs

This hotel is about a 10-minute walk from the Sakurajima ferry dock. It is located in front of the sea, so you can enjoy an open view, and hot springs are also available in the annex next to it

Recommend for anyone wanting onsen bath experience, peaceful stay by the water, great views. Really enjoyed cycling around the island using the hotel bikes

Very nice hotel with an ocean view! Attached natural onsen, and great breakfast.

The onsen attendants didn't speak English and were a little flustered when we showed up to bathe at 8:25am (it closes at 9:00am) She tried to discourage us from entering, doubting that you will be done in time, but we pantomimed that we understood and would be done well before 9:00am

Meals at the restaurant at night will come out smoothly if you book the menu. Of course I didn't wait too long without a reservation. Adjacent to Nagasakibana Park

I stayed here two years ago and stayed in the same room again this time. The building itself is a little old, but it's clean so it doesn't bother me

You can sleep while looking at the sea from the room on the sea side. In addition, the bath is brought from the former Fukiagesou in Ichiki Town. It is lukewarm and easy to enter even in summer

There was also a Goemon bath called Himeyu. The indoor bath was also spacious. You can't use the sauna without a special mat

The building and interior are a little old, but it's close to the city hall and has good transportation.It's the best place to see the winter illuminations.

This is a very child-friendly hotel. There are lots of toys for children in the resting area after the bath, a large grassy area where you can play ball games, a small park, and a bouncing bed

The facilities themselves are simple, but the quality of the water, the temperature, and the scenery combined to create a memorable experience

From start to finish, I was the only guest there, so I was able to relax at my own pace and even take some photos. The winter mandarins sold at the counter were affordable and refreshing

I attached the timetable where the bus departs from Sakurajima port (as of December 2023). This bus is not the sightseeing bus so the operators might not speak English

Very good hotel and we got a good deal to stay. The male staff from front desk explained to us on all the nitty gritty, in a typical Japanese polite way. Onsen is at 4 floors and it is typical Japanese Onsen

The hotel however is away from the town center which might be inconvenient for some travellers that wan to walk around

There are washing and drying facilities on the 4th floor which is budget friendly, where we wash our laundry
