Hotels in center in Kagoshima

The surrounding area is also very quiet, so you won't be disturbed at night. The hotel staff are very friendly and help make your beds every day. So I booked 3 nights for this short trip

It is very attractive that parking is free at a hotel located downtown, and since there were not many guests, we were able to rent out the large public bathhouse

The location is fantastic! It's very convenient for visiting Shiroyama Observatory, Terukuni Shrine, the planetarium, Kagoshima Castle, and Sakurajima

I would definitely stay here again if I come to Kagoshima next time. Highly recommended for those who like Japanese-style houses

The view from the large bath located on the top floor is also quite nice. The hot spring water quality is very good

There is a slight smell when you first enter the room, but you can ventilate by opening the window

We booked a room-only plan, but when I contacted the front desk the morning of the stay, they added breakfast for 1,600 yen per person

The bathhouse's hot spring water was very slippery and clean, which was nice

The location was also convenient, just 200 meters from the airport bus stop and near the station, making it convenient for everything, including restaurants, shopping, and even a supermarket

The staff were always smiling and I was able to get there on foot from the central station

The L-shaped room had a table and a TV by each bed, which was also nice. It was close to the station, and there was a hot spring on the second floor, which also had a small open-air bath-like bath

We went on a trip with three parents and two children. In rooms for three people, there are usually two beds, one large and one small, but this hotel had three, which was impressive

The staff are very friendly but limited English. The room a good size, clean and comfortable. The breakfast was great! The restaurant is also pretty good for meals at night and the shabu shabu was awesome

As a business hotel, the bathroom area was also renovated, which was really nice. If I had to mention some negative points, 1. The clock's second hand was noisy. The water temperature was slow to rise

They also make their own ramen noodles. There is a rooftop Yakiniku beer bar with all you can drink shochu and beer bar for about 4000y. There is a 711 right next door

It's close to the station and the breakfast was delicious. The room was clean and had all the basic amenities. Plus, you get toner and cleansing products.

The Shinkansen train ststion is only a few minutes away on foot. I’d stay again as it’s quite affordable and decent

Quite dated hotel but affordable and decent. I love the breakfast! Really tasty, I didn't expect it...

Tram station is really close by, 10 mins to city center (Tenmonkan) If you are lucky, you can see Sakurajima volcano from your room, but due to eruption, I could not see it

Fantastic hotel! It's right by the Sakurajima Ferry, and you can even see Sakurajima Volcano from your room. It's also really close to Kagoshima Station, with a tram and bus stop right outside

Super convenient for getting anywhere!

Friendly service from staff Strategic location and opposite is the supermarket and Kagoshima Aquarium

Only drawback is although close to Kagoshima station, it’s a quite location and you need to walk 5 mins to convenient stores. Restaurant is also limited and close early

🙆‍♀️ However, the walls seemed quite thin, so it might be difficult if you miss a spot with someone on your floor (I could hear people talking in front of the elevator through the wall)

Although it was a modular bath, there are plenty of public baths open in the morning in Kagoshima, so we were able to use them for just a shower

A typhoon was coming, and since I didn't bring an umbrella when I left, I thought I'd have to go to the convenience store to get one

Perhaps due to the location or the building structure, the toilet in our room didn't flush easily, which was a bit of a worry

However, the hotel staff offered to use the umbrellas provided, and they even mentioned the length of my stay and greeted me

The price was quite reasonable, but the room was larger and cleaner than I expected, probably because it had been renovated

Good location with magnificent view of Sukurajima. That lady attended to us is super helpful. Highly recommended if you are there. Me lucky to be here.

We had a wonderful stay at the Aqua! The staff and owner were incredibly kind and helpful and the tatami room was clean and comfortable

It's close to the Tanegashima Yakutaka Trail and I use it when I'm in Kagoshima City. The food is filling and satisfying.

We stayed at Aqua Garden Hotel Fukumaru for our school trip! We stayed in room 408, which was a Japanese-style room! Sakurajima couldn't be seen from our room, but it looked so beautiful when we went outside🌸🏝

The building and interior are a little old, but it's close to the city hall and has good transportation.It's the best place to see the winter illuminations.

Excellent location: bus stops, port, shopping streets (and Don Quixote) - everything is nearby, and yet it is quiet. The room is gorgeous: plenty of space, everything is clean, everything you need is there

The older gentleman at the front desk was very kind. He offered plenty of welcome drinks and even gave me ice with a glass, which was very thoughtful. I was very pleased and will definitely be returning.

The room was spacious and very clean. The staff were also polite and helpful, which I appreciated. I would like to stay here again. I think it would be a very comfortable room for a family stay.

I took a long-distance bus to Kagoshima for a layover overnight, and then needed to take a ferry the next day. The bus was delayed, so I didn't arrive at the hotel until 11:45 PM

It's very close to Izuro-dori Station on the Kagoshima tram line. There's a highly-rated tendonya (temple bowl restaurant) nearby called Ageya Daiichi, which I highly recommend

Having lived in Tokyo for so long, the contrast in Kagoshima was striking. The price was reasonable and the room was spacious – I was very satisfied

The location is on a quiet road, and it is easily confused with Building 2 not far away. We went to Hall 2 and were told that the reservation was for Hall 1. Hotel chain management, economical and affordable

The front desk staff were very helpful, the room was clean, and the last thing I wanted was for the staff to be friendly and helpful. I will definitely use this hotel again.

All handmade home style breakfast, mainly Japanese style. But, there were breads and salads. This hotel locates close to the bus terminal of Tenmonkan and tram station

Very close to Kagoshima Chuo, cozy, everything is there. A towel costs 100 yen, bunk beds; closed with a curtain, has its own kitchen, dining area. I really liked the location, the staff

I made a mistake by calling the wrong guesthouse but the staff still very kindly show us the way to go to our destination. Next time i'll make sure to stay at little asia and recommend it to my friends.

Everything is great for unpretentious tourists

It is a small hostel. Staffs were nice. I like it as a family style However, I thought I booked the single room but it wasn't. I requested to change to single room but all full. Other than that, everything was good.

The service is good, but you need to leave your key at the front desk before leaving. It's close to Central Station

It's quite good, perfect for one person, and it has a separate wet and dry area, perfect for smoking. Although there are some stains, I like the style. Those who don't like it will be charged a fee

Retro style, although a bit old, but not broken, very well maintained, ten minutes walk from the station, the alley is very quiet, better than the express hotel next to the station.

The hotel's exterior, interior, and rooms were all well-appointed and had a noble feel to them. It was an extremely comfortable night. Thank you very much.
