It takes 10 minutes to walk from Sakuramachi Kumamoto Shopping Mall.
It's nice to have an arcade shopping street near the hotel.
The hotel facilities looked old, but overall they were good and the staff were very friendly.

No wifi for this "business hotel"), broken bathroom door, bed unclean. They insulted their customer
False-accusation made on us as they verbally-abused, insulted us (I want to see your mother's face), and holding our luggage unless we pay for "cleaning fees" for something we did not even do.
They refused to investigate the issue, calling us stupid liar and threatened to call police. Just like a scammer.
I've been around the world, nothing came close to this nightmare, not in India, Myanmar, Vietnam, China, but in Kumamoto..
The insults came before any attempt to talk through the issue properly.. Just out of nowhere
Beyond horrible.. Absolute nightmare.. Do not stay here.

The location is good as it's near the downtown area, but the building itself is old and has a charming atmosphere. The front desk is open 24 hours. It's a shame that the amount of hot water in the bath is not very strong.

I booked this place last minute while traveling on a budget. On trio.com it had pretty high ratings, though the Google reviews seem a bit outdated. Check-in was a little late (4pm), but aside from that everything went smoothly. Wi-Fi worked fine, and there was staff on duty 24/7. If you’re not expecting luxury but want something clean and well-located, this hotel is a great choice.

The hotel is a bit dated, but considering the price, it was a truly satisfying stay. The location was also very close to the city center, and there was a convenience store right next door, which was nice.

The location in Kumamoto is ambiguous to evaluate, but the service of the old men is really good, and the facilities are old but clean. However, the price is expensive compared to the facilities.
